I did it once to see what it was like. didn't do it again because tires were worn afterwards... that and I almost hit a bicyclist.

driftin is just for fun or to show off, in a race it hardly comes with any benefits...grip driving is where its at, know the proper line when to break when to accelerate and how to distribute the weight of the car.

What's funny is that my crash was not due to drifting. I wish it was, though. Would have made a better story than 'Oh, I kinda understeered and drove right into the side of a mountain...'

MAN I HATE IT WHEN I UNDERSTEER

Anyways, yeah I drift in the rain. I'm not rich enough to do anything on dry asphalt.

lol as tsuchiya always says when you understeer yank the ebrake and full throttle hahahaha

I broke my ebrake...
-.-

Bleh.

howd you end up doing that?? my stock s13 brakes never locked...stupid crap, and somehow ended up seizing on one side blehh and then upgraded to BBK brembos lol

I broke it by being a stupid fuck.

i love drifting!!
i wana do this one day in my life!!

MITSUBISHI EVO!

It's funny how people just post a high performance car and say they can drift it. Drifting an AWD car is incredibly hard, much MUCH harder than RWD. It requires incredible power and footwork to get it sideways and keep it like that.

Im an 18 year old student woking for my father, and because of my job location, I have to drive alot. Since I got my Accord LX a couple years back, Ive been drifting every day, starting by ripping my E-brake on country roads, to tackling the tighter corners in the city. Lately though, Ive been on the quiet side of things, because people in my area are getting cranky about the risks I am taking, and now my Dad knows about it, hes on my back...I cant blame them, it isnt safe, and is never worth the costs. Not to mention the monthly costs on my car. I havent ever been in a serious wreck though. PS - Drifting is a turnoff to alot of girls. Ask them if they are okay with fast driving fast first. If they like, it, it makes for a more fun date.

This one is even funnier than the guy with the AWD. Drifting a FWD? I'm telling you, pulling your ebrake is called 'POWERSLIDING'. Learn your terms.

power sliding doesn't mean ripping ur e-brake...
infact...ripping your e-brake is a drifting technique...clutch-kick...down shifting...
i not a pro or what so ever in that sense...but power sliding happen when u have much speed turning into a corner...u turn hard on the steering....this is where the power sliding happens...
power sliding thru a corner...u tend to lose less speed than drifting....(except for D1...they are MAD!!)
where as drifting is also about losing grip...shifting the grip of the tryes...to the front or back...IMO..hehe...

drifting evo is for sissy...hehe...they powerslide so easy...(go watch top gear if u haven't)...with so much electronics doing the work for u....note that evo is AWD...

-Rogan-....i own a accord EX-L...hehe...those thing are kinda bulky and heavy...ripping the e-brake on those
is kinda scary for me...i feel i have no sense of control what so ever...

Hahaha you cant tell me that you cant drift in a FWD...I guess maybe its because it is my first car, but Im used to maneuvering it quite a bit. Maybe the termanology isnt "drifting", but there are lots of ways it can be done, surely you should know, ultimasephiroth. Whatever the case may be, the car slides around corners accurately and quickly. Thats all I need to say Im getting were I gotta go quickly, and taking corners smoothly, be it drifting or the like. As for the weight of the car...my Honda isnt massive, but its got some weight...once you feel its balance, you can adjust accordingly, and its agility becomes top notch when you know how to use it. My friend has an FX-7 that he brought from Japan, juiced up with Nitrus Oxide, and maybe 2 inches from the ground. Hehehe, the thing is, he doesnt even stunt, and drives really slow, because he wants to take care of the car. With good reasons of course, hes got the thing in mint condition.

Ok, you go to a drifting competition with your Accord. After you finish your run, look at the scoreboard. You'll see three '0's. I guarantee it.
