Episode 12 is now out on CR so I don't think we need to bother with spoilers anymore

You come into this thread to discuss the show and latest episodes and I'm not gonna spoiler tag every thing I post, so you have been warned!

So after watching episode 12, I'm guessing Cain's version of the Valvrave AI is part of the second generation of pilots (where Haruto and the rest of the student pilots are 3rd gen) and Cain was also a test pilot

The whole ending with the Magius I'm guessing are the ones who helped in the development of the Valvrave through the use of the Runes, the curse, and AI

Also Akira-chan! I'm so proud of you!

Akira x Shoko OTP

There are a bunch of other stuff I'll post to discuss in a bit.

Akira x Shoko OTP for sure!

Emotional stuff. Honestly, the series is making me want to buy it, it is making me forget how silly some of it was...

I wonder who that kid is in the beginning of the episode. He looks like a mini L-Elf. The girl looks like an older version of Saki-chan.

It's silly at times but they still know how to make it really entertaining and attention grabbing when it counts

Isn't it older Saki? It's a flash forward like they did when she was fighting in the future.

I think it said it was the year 221 (or was it 211?) when they did that scene in the beginning and the present time is 71 so I think she's around 150+17 so 167 years old (around that age)

And she's still hot! Mmmm

Possibly. I do recall seeing a Saki from 200+ years flash forward in one of the previous episdoes.

One of the most 'cliche' mechas of the last few years, but I enjoyed it so much I could move on & make fun of its terrible flaws.

I flipped shit at the end of ep 11 when he proposed. But was enjoyable none the less.

kinda thought about this myself, he's either a descendant of L-Elf or he's one of those human experiments to replace Haruto as the pilot of valvrave because it sounds like he's dying next season or something(i thought he sort of resembled haruto more than L-Elf, just with grey hair)..

Forgot to mention this before, but I think Akira's seiyuu (Aoi Yuki) deserves some recognition after that episode. I don't think I've ever heard anyone pull off such a prolonged state of nervous hysteria in an anime before. Especially the texting.

Maybe it wasn't hard and I just noticed it because it seemed unusual, but it still stood out to me.

I enjoyed this show more than I probably should have, haha. It's absurd and ridiculous but still very entertaining, nonetheless. Either way, I think I'm going to be excited to see this show return once fall comes around.

Definitely her and shoko's scenes are one of my favorites in this episode, her freaking out was oddly ... adorable lol and it was a huge major step for her character to leave that room. suuupeermaarkkeeet! And maybe it's just me, but I felt that Shoko snapped out of it when she was trying to save Akira, it's nice to see that despite her father's death, other people's lives and welfare (like asking L-Elf to keep her father's death a secret from Haruto) are still her priority.

While this show definitely had its ups and downs, it definitely managed to be pretty interesting. Is it October yet lol?
The scenes where they show the future always drive me nuts though, because they just make a million more questions than answering any hahaha.

I think that's what L-Elf would look like if he was, you know, happy and smiled more lol
This is different from his "just as planned" smile

She definitely portrayed someone who suffered a severe trauma as a kid very well
I also have to say the animation for the scene where she was just looking at the exit was just well done as well
The flashbacks were also pretty good where you don't need them to narrate it but you can just tell the point they were trying to get across and what the source of her fears were

The only answer you need to know about the future scene is that Saki is still alive and she's still very hot.

so many things happened in this episode, It should be bad that they left it so open for season 2 in usual series, but I'm so excited because of all these plot twists and openness.

Saki is still best girl.
