Paris is awesome! I spent a year in France and had so much fun. Paris is sort of just made for shopping and sights though, not really a cultural city.

P.S. @kizna-chan your dads a liar.

I don't mind if you tell me I'm crazy but please don't call my Dad a liar! Were you there the same time he was there? I don't think you had even been thought of yet so you can't say when he was there over 30 years ago it didn't smell like pee... can you? No!

That would be a HUGE no. A few people I know have been and they say french people are jackasses. I'd rather go to Australia.

@kizna-chan

Dude you said your dad took one smell and all of a sudden the whole city smells like pee? Was he by the bathroom when he smelled? Get over it he's either a liar or an asshole for that statement.

Been to Paris a few times. Lots of porn shops. People are rude. It smells funky.

Paris is for the unoriginal and not terribly romantic. We're on a Japanese Anime fan site...have you BEEN to Kyoto?

I've been there and in one word, it's awesome. I'm a big cities lover, so my opinion isn't quite objective at all, but i really enjoyed the architecture, the streets, the bridges, the fusion between modern and old city-construction concepts and obviously the landmarks.
I hope you can go there sometime, it's a really lovely city.
Besides, French are just jackass with the english speaker so if you aren't one, you'll be treated pretty fine haha

I would like to go to Paris. Only once, though. I'd much rather travel to Italy, Germany, and Japan.

I've been. It's awesome. I spent about a quarter of the time checking out touristy stuff, another quarter checking out the live music scene, and the rest of it just walking around. I'm going back in December, and I'll probably do the same thing.

I'd rather go to California. First time I went there, I fell in love with it. I'm definitely moving there when I'm older and live by the beach.

Let's go to sleep in Paris,
And wake up in Tokyo.
Have a dream in New Orleans,
Fall in love in Chicago,
Then we can land in the motherland,
Camelback across the desert sand.
Take a train, to Rome, or home,
Brazil, forreal.

But seriously I wouldn't really want to visit Paris. Not much there that I'm interested in. But other parts of Europe and Japan would be cool.
