BACKSTORY:


The Protectors are what keep The City safe. They are the law. They are the order.

Before The Virus came to be, The Protectors were simply the ones who kept the city safe by deleting any abnormalities and sending them to the Noise where they would be evaluated and re-constructed. A long time ago, when The Virus came to be, The Protectors swore to wage a war until there was peace in The City and that there would be no uprising.
Because of this war, The Protectors have gained powers called DOWNLOADS that gives each race a different ability to use against The Virus or to aid a fellow Protector.

THE RACES:



The Sentinels are the oldest form of Protectors and excel in speed. These tall and slender Protectors prove to be quite a match when in the face of danger.

- DOWNLOADS -

(Accelerator) : move even quicker than the regular Sentinel. Special Tech : (once daily) can move so fast that the opponent is under the illusion that there are clones of the Sentinel. The Sentinel can use these clones to confuse and stall their opponent.

(Skater) : the Sentinel gains extra weapons on their legs that can be used to deal extra damage to their opponents. Special Tech : (once daily) skate in circles so quickly that the Sentinel eventually creates a spinning whirlwind of damage that hits the target so fast that they remain confused for the next turn.

(Razor) : The sentinels wings gains a burst of power. The Sentinel can use this power-up to glide from location to location at moderate speed. Special Tech : (once daily) the Sentinels wings go on overdrive and create a super sonic sound that can be used to damage the opponents senses.





The AID, or the AntiVirus Identification units serve to heal and boost stats of other Protectors. They are the newest model, and as such, come with hi-tech abilities that are expected to turn battles around. (Without downloads, AID can only heal from 15-50% of health)

- DOWNLOADS -

(Healer) : Boosts the AID' healing ability to an increase of 50 - 80 % of health restoration. Special Tech : (once daily) the AID can sacrifice itself in battle in order to bring back ONE team member if that member was sent to the Noise.

(Offenser) : Can increase party attack stats. Special tech : (once daily) can give one team member the ability to re-use an OFFENSIVE special tech.

(Defenser) : Can increase party defense stats. Special tech : (once daily) can give one team member the ability to re-use a DEFENSIVE special tech.




The soldier initially serves to function as a tank for The Protectors and as such exchanges speed for overall health and power. They are steadfast and value honor above all other Protectors.

- DOWNLOADS -

(Blocker) : The Soldier's giant metallic arm transforms itself into a thick shield that protects the Soldier from heavy frontal attacks. Special tech : (once daily) the shield stretches out to give the Soldier a full 360 protection range. However, since the shield has become thinner, it will not withstand as much damage as the regular shield could.

(Striker) : The Soldier's arm morphs into a giant spear that the Soldier can use to strike at enemies. Special tech : (once daily) the spear can now spin so fast that it will eventually (meaning it can NOT directly happen in one turn) cause the metal to generate heat at a very hot temperature.

(Gunner) : The Soldier's arm turns into a large machine gun that can be used to shoot down enemies. Special tech : (once daily) the gun breaks up into three smaller versions of the machine gun and orbits around the Soldier and can shoot at a 360 range.



The Engineers certainly don't have a lot of health or speed, but they have the brains. All Engineers have a mechanical pet that serves them in any way they can. Engineers certainly are quite the sturdy class due to their pets ability to make up for what the Engineer lacks. (if you choose to be one, please include a description or picture of your mechanical companion.)


- DOWNLOADS -

(Tamer) : The Engineer's pet gains additional strength and speed. Special Tech: (once daily) the Engineer and the pet become one. The Engineer connects with the pet, and is able to control it for awhile until the pet goes on override. The body of the Engineer, however, will be vulnerable during this time.

(Bomber) : The Engineer is able to give the pet the special ability of generating bombs. Special tech : (once daily) The pet is able to reconfigure itself and can now use a rocket launcher to lock on its enemy for a great amount of damage. (can only use 1 shots before the pet needs rest)

(Copier) : The Engineer can use its pet to copy ONE action of its enemy. Special tech: (once daily) the pet can reconfigure itself to become a mirror image of the enemy but can only use normal attacks.




The Reapers came to be after the Virus launched their first assault on the Protectors. They were specifically meant to deal with the Virus due to their extraordinary damage and unusual powers.


- DOWNLOADS -

(Burster) : The Reaper is able to collect its own blood and can control it at will (Beware, you can only lose so much blood before you're sent to the Noise.) Special tech : (once daily) the Reaper rips out its own heart and uses it to control its enemy. (By doing this, you're sacrificing your own life force and will be sent to the Noise.)

(Gazer) : The Reaper is able to moderately read enemy movements, but gets tired from doing this quickly. Special tech: (once daily) the Reaper is able to freeze its opponent with its unsettling glare until the effects wear off.

(Screecher) : The Reaper is able to lure in enemies while singing an unsettling tune. Special tech: (once daily) the Reaper lets out a horrifying screech that essentially ruins the opponents senses for awhile.





Sights have excellent reflexes and excel at using long distance attacks. Close combat is not their specialty, which is why they can use certain techniques to keep them at a distance from their enemy.


- DOWNLOADS -

(Soarer) : The Sights can now levitate via the digitally constructed wings that appear on their backs. Special tech : (once daily) the Sights gains an extra set of wings and can fly at incredible speeds that will enable the enemy from hitting them. However, their attacks and accuracy suffer greatly from this boosted speed.

(Typer) : Sights can construct snipers that function on their own by continuously typing in the name of the enemy that the Sights wants to attack. Special tech : (once daily) the Sights can now type different codes into their snipers to fire elementally charged bullets. These elements include Fire, Ice, Water, Lightning, and Earth.

(Liner) : The Sights constructs a weapon that resembles nothing but a small spear. This spear can be used to throw at the enemy and paralyze whatever part it hits for a short amount of time. Special tech : (once daily) the Sights can construct more than one liner at once and can use these to essentially rain down liners. This takes a long time to ensemble and the Sights can be quite vulnerable during this time.
