Yes, I know Sweden / Norway / Finland did, I was asking about Denmark in particular, which has often been the Nordic country which has had the second most troubles with region block (Iceland has it worse).

And Attack on {the} Titan{s} is published by Kodansha, who often include the Nordic countries (for example, Muromi-san is the other series published by Kodansha this season), so it seems like its likely to be some complication due to sharing the streaming license with Funimation.

Aah, I see then (:

An American friend recommended Fate/Zero, but i couldnt find it. I later found out American subscribers get everything, damn bastards.

I'm a big fan of the Shingeki no Kyojin manga and have seen the two first episodes fansubbed.

When i saw this thread i thought, fuck yeah, imma get some man-eating in HD, but alas, i got so dissapointed it blew my lid off.

At least i can watch HBO online unlike you Yankee Basterds.

I get to watch HBO Online, but only because I have family that gets it on cable.

Denmark is very much like the Netherlands ~ better than most of Europe, Africa, the Middle East or anywhere in Asia, but only getting half the series in Spring/Fall.

Well, I think you are getting half ~ its not always easy to tell from the license announcements. Are you getting Devil Survivor 2, Flowers of Evil, and Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet?

Yes, yes and yes. I dont really give a f*** about them, but yes.

what i want is good new series, either with a big budget like code geass akito the exiled or K or adapted from a good popular manga like Kingdom or Magi the labyrinth of Magic etc.
And acess to big long running series like One Piece, or Dragonball or Toriko.

also i hate slice of life and ecchi, which cuts off 75 percent of the anime here.

i think im just gonna try and proxy so i can get the american line-up

Sounds like you want the kind of series that get home video licenses from Funimation or Viz, which are normally either locked out for Crunchyroll or on a limited regional license ... Attack on Titan is the first stream shared with Funimation that wasn't a sequel to a series Crunchyroll got first, and its one of the two most narrowly distributed series this season.

Definitely Funimation, then ... all three of those are Funimation series. Dragonball is the series they used to ride out the crash.

That's because that's 75 percent of anime made in Japan. The kind of anime that is popular with traditional anime fans in the West is not as common nwadays.

Though even then it can be tricky for Funimation's streams, since Hulu is pretty aggressive at trying to block proxy servers. Be sure to check out Daisuki when it launches at the end of the month.

Color me surprised! I hopped on Funi's website and they're streaming Attack on Titan also? I wasn't expecting both to stream it. I rarely notice any overlap between the two services.

Subs still different between Funimation and Crunchyroll as of episode 2...

Crunchyroll, "Over a hundred years ago, humanity suddenly found itself with a new predator."

Funimation, "Over a century ago, beings that prey on humans suddenly appeared."

Exactly the same meaning but with different words. I personally like Crunchyroll's subs better.

This they really seem to have everything this season. If this trend continues they will probably actually become very successful.

Yes, I'm just pointing out that they are each separately doing the subtitling rather than sharing one set. I wondered if they might share it at some point but perhaps not...

Yeah, probably not. Different groups have different translators working for them which is why you usually see the same episode with different subs depending on the site you choose.
