From what i experienced,premium petrol gives me less mileage and but a smoother ride but wit the rising petrol prices i am sticking to regular...

If your engine doesn't knock when using regular go for it. If you happen to need 91 octane you *should* know it if you put in 87/89. I accidently filled 87 in my 85 supra once when I first got it... man I never wanted to make that mistake again. It felt and sounded like I was running on 5 cylinders.

READ OWNER'S MANUAL if you can read the brochure of your car, it doesn't hurt to read the manual. stop bickering. the car makers know more than you do. |

Nice. The US gas is like water compared to yours with the max I have seen is 93. Lowest is 87 I think (maybe a few years ago). |

Gas? Pffft whatever. The E85 here in MI, and most elsewhere probably, is equivalent to 105 octane and it cost way less than race gas. E85- under $2 a gal. Race gas- $6+ a gal. I use it to run my toy, becuse it has 11.25:1 compression.
