Just going to say I'm paying for a service. If that service continues to be subpar I will cancel payment.

If kids are spending their allowance money and watching things mommy and daddy don't want them to watch maybe mommy and daddy should be better parents.

If adults are offended by gore and boobs then they're watching the wrong genres. There are plenty of action/dark animes that don't have graphic violence or nudity.

Either way I think censorship is going to hurt income more than anything else. Unless of course this is a marketing ploy by the companies providing the anime to crunchyroll saying if you want uncensored buy the DVD. That is another entirely possible reason.

Only if the director says it shouldn't be seen.

No, but it's usually not their fault, though they shouldn't pick up shows that are going to be heavily censored due to when they're broadcast in Japan (Like Terraformars) unless they can get an uncensored form instead. I mean, the only thing that show had going for it was its violence.

I wish there was an easier way to say this, but CR doesn't censor anything. Seriously! They don't have enough staff to go in and white out, black out, or otherwise censor anything. They're all busy making deals to get more anime, coding to make anime appear on more platforms, and so on.

The publishers are the ones who choose what to offer. CR pays to get what they offer and stream it. In most cases, that offering that CR is allowed to stream is censored, as the publishers hope to release the uncensored versions on DVD/BD and make even more money.

Sometimes they can get a deal to show uncensored stuff for a brief time. Sometimes the publisher is okay with full time uncensored. But either way, CR doesn't get to choose, they just bid on shows like Funi and other sites do in the hopes of airing what they can.

I just think that if they do have an uncensord version of an Anime they should add an age limit or some kind of verification.

Absolutely not. Now, if that's the only thing available, like with Terra Formars, then it's one thing. But they shouldn't be adding any censorship of their own, at least for subscribers. For non-subscribers I can accept, but for subscribers they deserve to watch the original work intact.

No. But Crunchyroll receives the episodes censored, it's not like they can un-censor it themselves lol.
