It's delicious. Taro, Thai, and Jasmine are my favourite.

I love it! I like to try taste different flavors. So far my favorite is mango milk tea with tapioca pearls.

Kagura what is this Pearl Milk Tea you speak of? I thought you only eat rice with some type of plain toppings on it!

It's delicious, but I stopped drinking it a while ago. I can't afford that amount of sugar and carbs.

Nope.

I don't find them tasty. And they are expensive.

I've pretty much had any kind of boba/bubble tea you can possibly imagine. From milk tea to fruity crushed ice (Slurpee style). I'm more of a milk tea person, myself. Taro or Hong Kong style tea are my favourites, though. Chai/Thai are good locally here in Maryland - hard to find a solid enough Taro flavoured milk tea (usually a bit bland/weak). London had some amazing boba tea shops though. >:

Those who are saying that the bubbles are bad/poisonous/etc - it's invalid. It's been proven fraudulent by Taiwan and a third party (out of country) analysis. However, it is dangerous for children to have them as they can still go down the wrong pipe (windpipe rather than the oesophagus).

I don't like milk, cheese, peas, olives, sweetcorn, broccoli, fish etc...

Please beware of fly's in your cup of tea. You may die.

I want to try this. Ever since my friend told me about drinking one I have wanted to try. What do they taste like? Sometimes the consistency in pictures reminds me of a really thick tapioca pudding, is that far fetched?

The consistency is more like milk, really. The pearls are chewy, not quite rubbery, and taste like tea-infused tapioca (which they are, normally). Of course, you can get boba slush that has a different texture.

Boba tea is definitely an acquired taste.

When I was first introduced to it, I was against such but as I tried more flavors and such I came to love it.
