I really love the look of Tsuritama. It is so colorful and fun. very vibrant. the background is well drawn. The story was good but its the look of it that I really loved.

The Monogatari series probably has some of the best art I have ever seen in an anime.

Definitely agree here^, I also started watching Soul Eater because I liked it stylistically (at least the backdrops and stuff), without that I probably wouldn't have bothered to finish it

Kara no Kyoukai - The Garden of Sinners

Every scene is flawless, mundane task look amazing, backdrops look artistic, the lighting they use is excellent, and when it comes to action scenes it's jaw dropping.

Sort of an answer to your question.. (not exactly): Soul Eater.
I have no idea what the story is about, but two days ago I watched it in Toonami and I loved it.
It looks so refreshing, reminds me of One Piece and the feeling it gave me when I saw its art the first time.
I always used to say that I had never seen anyone play with angles and perspective like Oda does but damn, Soul Eater shut me up! Even the opening is enough to convince me!
Who knows? Maybe that's just the animators and not the mangaka? But I don't think so since they are required to follow his style.

I decided I will start the anime and the manga in the Summer when I finally get some free time.
