Well, I never posted here I don't think, and it's not really a rant, but I'm venting nonetheless...

Some shit's going on, and it looks like I'm finally being proven to be just a naive young and dumb teenager, much to my chagrin, as my relationship of three years is looking like it's going to crumble into dust. I feel like shit, and I'm hoping it's a giant fucked-up nightmare or dream and Ashtone Kutcher's gonna run out and say "Surprise asshole! You got Punk'd!"

Welp. As everyone else is saying...
Also, I have to finish some college work and a drawing by tomorrow. I so love having responsibility. I don't want to go to work tonight either.

If usage of your mouse (probably the least physically taxing of tasks on any given day) is making your shoulder hurt, perhaps you should get off your ass and be at least minimally active. Maybe lift something heavier than a can of Mountain Dew.

The Seattle Seahawks have been annoying me today. They're such an annoying team in general. Last season, they wouldn't go away as the 49ers were trying to clinch the division. This season, they're beating the crap out of the Niners in their first game against them as I am typing this. Now the Seahawks will most likely be 2-0 and first in the NFC West. The 49ers will be 1-1 and will have to play Catch Up. I hate when that happens. Oh, and I also hate how their stadium is obnoxiously loud. The Seahawks play the Jaguars next week and they probably won't lose. If anyone from Seattle reads this, I like your city, but I hate your city's football team.

Gah why do people have to persist in believing that depression is a state of mind and easily changed! Sometimes it is, people with clinical depression however don't just have a state of mind!

Depression is a mental illness, yes illness which is biological therefore it's not the person's fault they have it! Okay it isn't always biological, but fact is, if there wasn't a biological aspect, anti depressants WOULDN"T WORK.

Sure it does help to try to be happy but when you're inclined to be depressed, being happy is difficult. It's a vicious cycle where you try to be happy, it's practically impossible, so you give up and sink lower in depression and it's just not a pure state of mind problem. People have to go through THERAPY to figure out how to be happy with depression, and sometimes even THE PSYCHOLOGISTS assign anti depressants because being happy isn't possible without them for some people.

Don't blame the people for something htey can't help! honestly, it's taken me YEARS to get to a decent non-depressing mood... and I'm not even sure how that happened. To me it's like one day I was depressed then suddenly there was a switch flipped and boom I was happier.

Yes it does help to go through what might be wrong with their personality and try to improve and to try to 'be' happier, but when you're already inclined to be depressed, finding anything positive is really difficult. ugh people bug me when they talk about depression like they know what it's like... maybe they know what its like for one type of depression, but they don't know everything... like everything else out there, depression is complex and manifests in MANY different ways... In the end I really didn't have to try to be happier or go to therapy to get 'better'; it just happened I do still take my anti-depressants but that's because I don't want to know what would happen if I ddin't and I'd been depressed even with them.
