What tugs at your heart? The mountains, plains, desert, or ocean etc. ? Cold, warm, or hot? (or does it not matter at all) For me it is (warm) by the ocean....If I ever had to leave I'd probably be seriously depressed...

I particularly enjoy overcast days that are breezy and feature temperatures of 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit, and low to moderate humidity.

Mountains always have been my favorite natural environment. Patagonia especially, I could never get tired of looking at it. Bonus points because mountains are also the manliest of environments.

75-80 Fahrenheit summer highs (at the most) is pretty comprehensive for my criteria. Beach, mountains, forest, tundra -- it doesn't really matter that much. I don't mind freezing winters if I can be comfortable in the summer without A/C. I guess a soundproof room would also be nice, and if I can have that, then city life seems best. There's something calming about a faceless, nameless mass of people that don't give a shit about you. Small towns are WAY too friendly for comfort -- I quite like the idea of going to work without running into people I don't want to talk to, but nonetheless need to talk to because we're the only people on the street and I'd look like an ass if I didn't at least say hello. But obviously, this is asking for a conversation, so I'm screwed. So city life it is! Plus, there are some really beautiful cities in the world.
