You have no idea how hypercritical and how full of hypocrisy that thread is and contains.

that includes EVERY relation in that thread.

I recently stop caring when the hypocrisy reach my doorstep and killed it.

Remember that last rule on the first page on the first post.

Would you please elaborate?
We, the people of CR, need to know.

Do I see the word 'f***'? And Jesus's name first letter not in capital? See, mods?
These AMP regulars do the site no good. Ban the thread forever.

So it's not fun anymore?
More reason to lock the thread forever, mods.

This is only going to give people a place to protest the decision, which goes completely against why the thread was locked in the first place.

I don't really know what goes on in that thread but from what I've seen it's mostly unfunny AMP's. If people are being rude, disrespectful, or inappropriate ban them. Don't really understand what locking the post is supposed to prove.

They deserve a little schooling after all the warnings they've received.
Their opinion on this matter is null and void, like AHTL said.

Not capitalizing jesus? Yeah, that should mean massive punishment for all. BTW, please next tell me which church I need to attend and when to attend. Also please send me a voter change card so that I may sign up for the reTHUGlican party!

Okay then.
I need you to atone for your sin of making crappy AMPs.

You're kind of pushing the topic, Chrome, maybe even close to beating a dead horse. I've made somewhat of a departure from Crunchyroll hence my absences as of late. I've no idea what has occurred in the past months with /AMP/, too . Your topic is close to flamebaiting and trolling.

Nonetheless, here are my two cents, they're pocket change from the the money I've saved and spent:

/AMP/ attracts many users to the forums and to shut it off forever would only detract those users from the fora. To be quite honest, I find the Crunchyroll fora to be a quite dead and slow fora. The /AMP/ thread is the most active threads out of all the threads in the entirety of CR and to kill it off would diminish user activity on the forums.

Am I against ATHL's ruling? No, in fact, I agree with him; speaking as an old user and now quasi-lurker of the thread, I've witness how rowdy we can be if things don't go our way. The users of the thread need to learn and the lock down is a form of discipline for us; it's a sign for us to better our behaviors and adapt to the changes of the thread. I can sympathize with them that the rules are totalitarian-like in some senses but it's there to prevent incidents like today's. Rather than throw vocal abuses at the moderators and operating witch hunts on those who report your posts, put up a more respectful front.

I'm asking a legit question.
I don't like AMP and personally would like to see it get closed but if it attracts users like you say
then tch. At least it has a purpose.

Thank you for your contribution to this thread, Asura.

Ok Chrome, I will make a long story itty bitty short.

First to dispel any "rumors". AHTL did not lock the AMP thread. The Mod Team locked the AMP thread. Every site moderator currently online and the head of CR support got in a chat room and talked it out. What was done by AHTL was the agreed upon resolution of all of us.

So that said... it isn't really up for debate. While I can appreciate your feelings locking the thread was what we deemed best.

So let's let everyone move on from that, enjoy other parts of the forums (and maybe a couple anime), and let everyone chill on that issue so people have time to come back to it cooled off with level heads.

That's why it got locked, that's what we would like people ta do!

What Karkarov said above is correct. This was not some lone wolf, spur of the moment thing from AHTL. It was a collective decision made by us site mods and the head of CR support.

And if no one sees which site moderator is online, I would like to say that I am online, even though I show up as offline and that goes to some moderators on this website as well.

The Mod Team truly locked the AMP thread together after a very long discussion about it. When it comes to making such big decisions such as closing a big thread as the AMP, we discussed it together so please do not think that AHTL locked the thread on his own. I am not covering him up if anyone thinks that, because I was there locking the thread with him and other mods involved.
