Udon is not ramen, like somen shouldn't be confused with ramen. And soba isn't like any of them. Noodles is serious business in Japan.

I know that, I'm just saying that's really the only kind of Japanese noodle I've ever had the experience of eating. Anything other than that has either been instant noodles, Italian style or lo mein.

I really like (not lying) the spicy beef cup noodle that *whatever company makes the most popular store bought ramen* makes. For the price ($.36 where I live) it's pretty good, and goes perfect with anime and my food budget.

This was another place in Tokyo near my hotel. Chashu-men. EXTRA pork. And they put a lot in. Also this place was the fastest service I've ever gotten.

I wish I could fly 6,500 miles AGAIN(I was stationed in Japan before coming to VA) to get that! I miss Kirin, Ebisu, and Sapporo beers!
