OK, so I just watched the opening to season two and I thought it was very good. Probably better than season one's opening although it remains to be seen how Season two will progress.
I think one of the flaws of the first season (which I enjoyed) was that it tried to be too episodic, and had too complicated a plot for a series with just twelve episodes. season two seems to be better paced so far, with episode two picking up right where the first one left off and the plot is developing at a quicker pace.
The animation for season two is simply gorgeous and so far the story has me hooked. I am very interested in this season as it deals more with the spirit world which was only minimally developed in the original series.
I have very high hopes right now and hopefully the show will live up to them.

Loved the two episodes last night.

I think Eska was the highlight for me, though.

I think Aubrey Plaza voice fits well with Eska since the character in some way has a very similar personality to April Ludgate from Park and Recreation. Although what bothered me was either their head posture is odd or the robes are just so big that it looks that way.

Season 1's finale went FULL RETARD on us.

I just realized season 2 is out, and I doubt anybody could fix the super negative impression episode 12 of season 1 did....like, dear god, I had a whole post on it but it was so negative I had to delete it and replace it with me telling you about how negative my view of that episode is.

I'ma go watch season 2 now. From the comments, they're throwing in more Romance......you do not bode well Season 2.

Loving the beginning of season 2 already! We might get to see old characters next episode, from what it looked like in the previews.

- I loved the beginning of Book 2 as well, though I personally think it was a rough start. But don't get me wrong, I like it that way.

- And yes, I look forward to seeing what has become not just of Ba Sing Se but of the entire world.

- I'm hoping to hear from the Sun Warriors and the masters Ran and Shaw. Since Aang and Zuko mastered Firebending with the help of the true masters, I'm expecting Korra will have an encounter with them too. (But of course this will have to sit in the Fire Book)

- I hope Zuko appears soon. If I'm not mistaken, he's still alive in LOK.

- I'm excited to see more of Kya, Bumi, and of course the airbenders (my bias).

This list can go on but I'll stop here since these are the points that are clearest in my head right now. I can't wait for the next episode! <3

Who is Lin Befong father? Sokka?
    most likely, yes

Absolutely not. That would make for some serious incest in story. Lin and Tenzin dated. If Sokka was her father then they would be first cousins (you know Sokka's sister, Katara, is Tenzin's mother, right?) Let's not forget that important bit of info. Sokka likely married Suki and had non-bender children. And yes, I hope we get more info on him along with Katara's other grandchildren. There's noway Kaya and Bumi aren't married.

Less happy with this one.

I did like the more humorous aspects better, such as Bolin's love issues.
Hopefully they will improve things in the next episodes, as the season opening showed lots of promise, and it would be a shame for it to go to waste.
