Anime forth and foremost is a cartoon, LOK is a cartoon. Japan is not the sole source for anime. LOK belongs and can be discussed on this forum.

Well I'm certainly glad this season is finally over, it wasn't that good compared to season one, although the last two episodes were fantastic. I really hope they get this one out on blu-ray quickly, the wait time for season one on blu-ray was far too long, even if the wait was worth it.

That was such an amazing finale. I loved how every character grew so much. And I loved how Korra was able to "find herself" and not rely on Raava or her past lives. She really became her own.

And while I'm sad that she lost her past lives, it's almost like it was meant to be a for this new age. It's like starting from scratch again.

I loved this season. Even though its first half wasn't that great, the second half was phenomenal. And now, I cannot wait to see what's going to happen in book 3.

I wonder where they'll go from here.....

I think your theories seem very plausible. And a dark avatar cycle would be so cool!!!!!

I felt bad too, but I felt relieved as well. They just weren't a good couple. I think Mako and Asami are a better match. Hopefully Korra finds someone nice in Book 3.

I enjoyed the first season. They could've spared me the love triangle drama, though. That made me feel repulsed by all three characters.

I was confused in the second season when it turned out that Mako and Asami was no longer together, and Mako and Korra had suddenly turned into a couple (And it was treated as a normal and a good change for everyone. They just decided to give Asami and Bolin a lot less screen time to make it work, or new love interests who aren't really love interests, almost removing them from the equation, because "Boohoo, our fans want Mako and Korra to be together. Fuck Bolin and Asami; they should be happy for Mako and Korra."), and that Korra could suddenly bend all four elements again, and pop in and out of the avatar state whenever she wanted even if it was just for games. If she just happened to be better at going in and out of the avatar state, that's fine, but at least give us a few scenes that explains it, but no. There was no development in the first season at all, except that she lost the ability to bend three elements, and gained the ability to bend one, which all happened in the very final episode of the first season. They could've spread all of this out evenly among the episodes, but instead just shoved into the last one, like "meh, whatever". Then I noticed that the second season had nothing to do with the first season, and that very few scenes in each episode have anything to do with each other.

Although I really liked Korra in many ways it annoyed me that her personality remains the exact same. She never learns or change. You would think that a person or even a fictional character would have at least some development but they've removed any and all that.

So it's really just badly mixed pile of shit made by someone who fails at principles and linear thinking. My interest in the show faded.
