When I'm ill, definitely. If I have a sore throat prior to bed, I usually have a sore throat in my dreams.

I would also think that if your house catches on fire and you end up burning alive while you're sleeping, you will probably dream that you're burning alive, and that would be one hellishly painful dream. Unless of course your lungs shut down due to smoke inhalation prior to the whole burning thing... then it might just end up feeling like a cat is sitting on your face.

I don't O: One time I had a dream I fell out of a roller coaster at Kings Dominion & I felt myself land on the ground, but I just got up and walked away~

I do, if I break an arm or something it'll definatly hurt...or when someone strangle me or when I'm drowning it's the worst, you feel like you are really missing air...

Oh, yes. I do. I almost always have lucid dreams, though, so I've learned to harness my power over them and decide whether or not I want something to hurt; however, even when I do feel pain in dreams, it's never to the extent of how it would feel in reality.

If you're like me, then you're actually holding your breath in reality when you have dreams that involve the sensation of suffocation. If you have lucid dreams, then try challenging yourself to breath when you're dreaming of drowning and strangulation. The sensation of asphyxiation should go away when you do. I find that helpful.

When we (day)dream, read, or watch a film in which we witness an action scene, our mirror neurons will simulate the action imagined or performed on screen, which means the mental faculties that represent action or pain will light up in response. We don't, however, feel physical pain. This is the basis of empathy and part of the reason we enjoy literature in all its forms (as well as dreaming!). I believe if you are not already in pain whilst asleep, the pain you felt would have been a simulated/imagined version of real physical pain.

Sometimes. Also, when someone touches me I can usually feel it. I also feel sadness.

Oh my goodness, I had a dream like that once! I just can't remember who it was. We were madly in love though.

I dreamt that I was merging with eagles (one eagle at a time), thus granting me the ability to fly. But that ability would fade after 5-10 seconds and I would fall to the ground. The pain was severe, and the occurence was repetetive - Eagle after eagle. It was well worth it though.

(No, I did not fall off the bed)
