war is awesome because it help reduce population lol

There hasn't been a war large enough to impact the global population since World War II, and even then the total pop. increased between 1939 and 1945.

In practice, there has never been a just (or necessary) war in the history of mankind. The only reasonable cause for participation is in pure self-defense, and even those nations that claim to be acting in defense against some transgression are almost always motivated at some level by a far less noble goal.

All conflict, not just war, is inherent in every living thing down to the atomic level. If you're not fighting something, you're dead. The only way we as humans can rid ourselves of war (or any form of strife, really) is to rid ourselves of free will, because us having free will means that we will have conflicting thoughts, ideas, and desires.

It's bad yes, but unfortunately it is sometimes necessary.

WWII in Europe for instance.

What makes it unavoidable is that if one side doesn't act first, the others will.

It is called the Prisoner's Dilemma. Look it up.

And then watch the new Crunchyroll series - Kaiji and learn the true nature of the world.

It is not hopeless as we are all making progress in life. Especially if we are questioning it rather than blindly marching out. We are fighting over resources we don't need to keep others out of power, and others from using them, and taking away our power. USA! USA! USA! It is why you have the internet watching anime while kids are begging on the street elsewhere. The system of power.
