I'm interested in knowing what kind of toys other people grew up with. ╚(•⌂•)╝

Most of mines got thrown out when I turned 14. Yet i still remember them dearly, even now.

Here are a few I had. [Pictures not mine]

[Lego's]

[Balancing bird]

[Hot wheels]

[This one orange Street shark]

[Power ranger action figure]

[And a Voltron]

I had more but I'll stop here. What did you have? =D

Gameboy color with all the Pokemon games, barbies, doll house, wooden play crib and high chair, lots of books, stuffed animals. Ya know, a basic girl room with all the girl toys. The funny thing is, I would've rather play with my brother and his toys like his Legos, train set and hot wheels. Lol. I'm such a tomboy.

One of those spinners, old classic ones you pumped and it would spin. Wooden cars.. wooden blocks.

Umm.. and military plastic toys, generic toys.. Now this was before I hit ten I believe. After that Nintendo came out or so. My first PC would be the ones you put a floppy disk in to play games.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I also had a few guns that could shoot out magazines of soft-feather light gum(?) ammunition, of course it made laser sound.

Between my cousin and I I could have sworn we had collected all of the original Power Ranger toys (including that big turtle mech). And no it wasn't from being spoiled (for the most part). We'd go through the block doing chores for people for a few bucks, and back then toys weren't too expensive if you knew where to shop.

A good 95% of my toys were Legos. Damn, I had a lot of Legos. Those are all you really need, though. I had a crazy imagination and I got really, really good at building anything I could think up. The only thing preventing me from making myself known in magazines was my lack of a camera and parents/guardians with time to spare.

I could literally spend entire afternoons building stuff, skip dinner, and keep building until I fell asleep.

I honestly didn't have many toys. I spent most of my childhood outside, so I played with throwing balls, frisbees and on bikes, scooters, or rollerblades. The toys I remember owning were those BeyBlade tops which I battled with, Bionicles (mostly to display in my room), and obviously the Gameboy and other consoles when they came out (as well as their predecessors).

When playing with actual toy toys, they were mostly my cousins because my aunt didn't like them being outside. We played with Hot Wheels, various action figures, and Legos.

Thinking back, I really didn't like girly things. LOL.

Legos, Barbies, Spaghetti Dolls, Bratz Dolls, Trolls, My Little Pony, Hot Wheels, N64, Game Boy Color, Polly Pocket, Furby, Socker Bopper, Giga Pets, Robot Dog, Magic Etch a Sketch, View Master, Hit Clips, Beanie Babies and a probably a shit ton more that I'm forgetting right now.

I also own a lot of the old school game board games. Clue, Guess Who, Life, Chutes and Ladders, Monopoly, Candy Land, Hungry Hungry Hippos, etc.

I don't have any siblings. I pretty much got every toy/game I asked for when I was little. And I asked for a lot of them.

Well I had a little barn set onetime that came with the little people and some animals and that little thing thats round and you pull the little
lever and is says something lame like "and the cow says moo!" lol. I also had a quit a few barbies haha. They were so awesome. I had a mermaid barbie and I played with her in the tub lmao. Lets see another toy I really remember would be my little teddy bear that came with a bottle and my little horse collection because I used to think horses were the bomb but I never once owned a my little pony. Thats kinda strange.
