What's your thoughts on the bugs that show up around spring? Where I am, it's the Junebug and Mayfly that show up.

I hate bugs, so naturally, I really dislike both Mayflies and Junebugs. As harmless as they may seem, they're stupid creatures, and in the case of junebugs, they are gross. There was one year, when I was in middle school; and when I went to wait outside, there were junebugs. Everywhere. Covering the door, the ground, pillars, you name it. And my god, was it disgusting. Also, Junebugs come around long before June.... sometimes in March, so they're not aptly named....
Mayflies are irritating little buggers, they die quickly, fly everywhere, and are generally useless.

And then there's ants, which plague lots of neighborhood yards, building their anthills. And in some cases, they bite as well, or worst case, crawl into your home.

My thoughts on bugs in a nutshell:
I HATE THEM!
They're good for nothing ,except a small source of protein for my puppy (yes, she enjoys eating bugs, lol).

I feel your pain. I have a infestation of bumblebees drilling into the wood above my door. These SOBs show up every time this year and try to claim my territory. I enjoy murdering them every single time......

Oh man.... Every spring, I have a GAZILLION Boxelder bugs.

They swarm around my front door, my windows, and under spring leaves. All they do is mate, shit, and die. Nasty, nasty bugs with zero redeeming qualities or purposes. They don't even taste good.

BEES.

BEES EVERYWHERE.

AND THEY'RE TERRIFYING.

No other bugs, really, but I'm dreading this summer.

CICADAS. CICADAS EVERYWHERE.

Oh yeah, and gnats. They fly in huge swarms.

Walking into them is the worst.

crickets
it was funny because recently someone was giving a rather uninteresting argument and a cricket starts chirping in the background, the chirp was so loud it beat the speakers voice

At my old high school, there were a lot of trees in the area, so in the spring caterpillars would appear. Mostly they would drop down from them, and sometimes get carried away by the wind when they fell. So we saw them everywhere on the ground and sometimes even on students! eeeew. I had a real phobia of those trees in particular.

While I'm biking, there's a certain area that has so many of these small black beetles, not sure what, but they cling on my shirt and gear.
Once I had around 5-7 on my right shoulder and another 5-7 on my left.
I just let them chill there, then wipe them off my shirt as soon as I get off that route.

They also run into my head.
Kinda hurts when I'm going 25mph.
