I'd like to give it a try but I don't have the time right now.
What I'd really like to do is get some of the women I know to do it and take pictures. Nothing lewd. I just manage to know a few people that are "right" for the character. One gal I knew was a dead ringer for Ranpha Frabiose just put her in a Chinese dress and stick a couple of gizmo's in her hair and she'd be perfect. She had the face, the hair and the body to be perfect.
One of the girls that is the leasing agent for my apt. complex is perfect for a half dozen characters....
the trick has always been getting a positive response . . . they are most assuredly NOT interested.

Cosplay is amazing. It helps people, such as myself, exist for short periods of time as anime characters. Thus masking their own dissapointment in themselves.

I'd love to cosplay but... I feel like id be too attractive if i went to a convention

It's a costly yet creative recreational activity. I personally don't see myself cosplay, but I think it's cool to some extent.

I admire those people that do it, like their ability to make such awesome costumes. But I don't think I could. All the female character's I would want to cosplay are clad a little more risquely than i am comfortable with.

Cosplay is like a box of chocolates, you never really know what you're going to get. I personally don't do it but enjoy the pride that people have in showing off the work they've done. I will just say that people need to cosplay to their body type....

I really enjoy other peoples cosplay. I am not artistic, nor have the ability to make a sweet cosplay outfit. There are times where I would really like to cosplay as an epic character, but don't have the time. I like seeing how awesome other people can make cosplay, thats for sure. I've seen some really awesome and elaborate ones, and even wanna give props to the people that are just starting out.

I think cosplay is really cool. I wish I was that passionate about a series.

You look like Ukiko the main protagonist from David Mack's Kabuki comic series. Totally should rock Kabuki.

I think cosplay professionally done can be pretty amazing, the same thing that you would expect to see on film sets and promotions for new series/games.

However I really dislike the cosplaying scene, for the same reasons I would not go to a comic convention, LAN event, Dungeons and Dragons game night or anything else that is over the top nerdy and attracts losers.

I realise my views on the matter are harsh to some, but I really don't enjoy being anywhere near genuine socially awkward nerds.
