I don't know if this has been problem has been encountered and reported before, but shifting through literally hundreds of topics is not an easy thing, so I'll start a new thread.

I recently was given a 30-day trial offer for an Anime Membership (which I accepted), and when the free month expired, I didn't cancel my membership. According to the Premium Membership Comparison page, I should be getting ad-free streaming on my Android app, but it's still pestering me to upgrade to a premium membership & interrupting my video stream with commercials. I double checked the card I used for my subscription & I was charged for this month, and my profile page shows I am still an Anime Member. Please help.

You can also use the Android thread for Android issues.

Can you please try logging out of your account on the device and then logging back in?

had the same problem, had to relog and it fixed it and a ton of other issues.

You guys should fix your app.

Hi, I have the same issue and logging out and back in did not fix it. Is there anything else I can try?

Are you sure that you are logging into the correct account? Sometimes users create a second user by accident, which does not have premium services.

*edit* Is this about playback on the Android device or via Chromecast?

I am having the same issue using the app on android. I have a premium anime membership and I am still getting ads. Logging out and back in, erasing the cache, in installing and reinstalling has not worked.

I have this problem as well. Have been a premium member for a couple of years and all of a sudden I get a ton of ads when watching on my phone. Have tried logging in and out, delete cach, reinstalling, nothing works. And the worst part is that every time an ad plays, I get it 3 times in a row. So I have to see 12 ads every episode I watch. The Android app is unusable for me right now....

It looks like you are no longer a Premium member, which is likely the reason you started seeing ads on the app.

Ooooh~ Yeah you are right! I forgot that I have a new card! Disregard my other comment, sorry! (But still, 12 Ads per episode for non-premium members? That have to be a bug... right?)

I'm a premium member and my card gets still charged and still have ads. What's the deal.it's not just happening on my phone either it's happening on my roku box too

Your account is not currently premium after your most recent payment attempt failed in June. If you are still experiencing charges you likely have a secondary account. Please /contact our customer service in that case.
