I'd feel a bit silly, but that's mainly because I'm so used to being taller at 6'2.

I've met girls who are my height in heels, so maybe it's not such an uncommon thing to be shorter as the guy.

You my friend are abnormally tall and rude to "normal people" :3 Do you understand that by your logic you only like guys that are 6feet and above.......which is a horribly low percentage. Unless your trying to date professional athletes

You misunderstood. I think I am gross cause I'm so tall and wish I was an average height. I don't think dating shorter guys is gross. But thanks for making me feel worse about myself. And I don't know if you noticed, but someone already addressed this (without freaking out and jumping to conclusions of course) and I explained what I meant. Actually, you could have easily asked what I meant instead of making fun of my height. Ah but, my friend, I suppose it's not fun for you that way. Is it?

I personally like tall girls and I know I'm not the only guy who does. I like that they are more noticeable from other girls and carry themselves on long legs ( I hope that doesn't sound weird). I don't like cultures pressure for girls to be short and equate it with being and feeling feminine.

Im 6"5 try finding someone of youre lenght then. Current gf is 5"6 :)

(Think biggest problem is that they wont be able to wear high heels if their taller some girls might find that a problem(i think))

As a tall girl (and I'm only speaking for myself) I prefer a guy taller than me. I would bug me too much if they were shorter and I couldn't even think about being in a relationship with them. It wasn't easy for me being a tall girl so a taller guy would but me at ease.

I'd say if the couple is happy, that's all that matters. One of the most attractive girls I met (who I stupidly did not date) was taller than me and she really liked me because unlike most guys I met (including other guys standing next to me) I didn't say anything about the height difference between us and treated her as normal when we first met. Well, among other things.

Speaking of this subject, I think Lovely Complex (the anime and manga) covered it pretty well. In an addicting, fun way to boot.

I'm 5'7" as long as the height difference doesn't make it awkward I don't mind seeing guys that are a couple inches shorter then me.

I don't find it strange at all. I'm 6'2 though, and I have only met a couple of girls who were the same height or close to mine (they played volleyball). Me personally I think it would be cool to date someone who was taller than me.

its not strange whatsoever. height shouldn't be a barrier to being with someone romantically.

The guy being taller than the girl is usually just the "norm."
Generally speaking, most girls are shorter than guys.
As long as the two people in the relationship don't care, it shouldn't matter.
Normally, I wouldn't think that height would be an issue in deciding whether to be with someone or not.
It is just a personal preference.
I am only 5' 2" and I prefer a guy to be taller.
But if there was someone who was shorter who I had interest in, I wouldn't turn them down because of it.
You can't choose how tall you are so if someone doesn't love you for who you are, find someone who does.
The End.

it depends on the girl, but girls mostly like taller guys. also i notice girls 5'1 or shorter only date guys taller then 5'7 since they dont like short guys. I think that's funny.

There was a joke that ran between my best friend and I when I liked this one girl. I said I liked that the girl was slightly taller than most girls as I didn't have to get uncomfortable when I leaned in to kiss her.

As people grow older they usually don't really care about trivial things like height differences. I think my older sister's boyfriend is shorter than her. My joke aside, I don't care about height differences. It is just something people can't control.

I think it's fine if its +/- 5cm. I remember I saw my kindergarten teacher's husband who was like 15cm shorter than her,so yeah it looked kind of weird.
