I hate roommates. They're pisses me off so much. I like my space to be big and I can be naked at my house place.

At 21 I moved to college with a group of 4 friends. Though some would leave and some would come back (repeatedly), I ended up living with atleast one of them for the next 20 years. Our apartment (or rented home) would be the focal point for all our friends at our various jobs to come by and hang out.

I have no interest in getting married (though I dated extensively), or owning a home (yardwork is not my thing). So apartment living with roomates (especiallly these radically cool dudes) was the best two decades of my life. Eventually they all got married and moved out.

Now I live alone and find it extremely boring.

Good luck with your roomate search.

Once you transfer to a university, life is much better. Though luck is very much involved. If you move to a university, stay on campus, most times your 1st semester at college will the best time of your life. moving in to a Uni. is also scary cuz you never know who you're gonna be roomed with, and even when you do, its scary cuz you dont know if they'll accept you or if they're weird... or if they are gonna kill you or something heck idk.

I got lucky to have a chill roommate who goes and gets drunk like every night.
Best of luck in college!

I have a question about roommates. Or more specifically roommates that take liberties they should not. I went home from Uni this weekend and upon my return I found my roommate had taken without my leave several Items to use for his still life final. For this he will have to keep them in place for two weeks. So fellow Crunchyrollers what do you think. Take them back without asking and spoil his project or swallow my anger at the violation and let it slide?

Tell them he can continue to use the items for a fee of $10, per item, per day, otherwise take them back

You should confront your roommate, but you don't have to do it in an aggressive manner. Just something like "Hey man I saw you borrowed my stuff next time could you ask me before please?"

Im living with one of my best friends form high school. We were pretty close, but after college and w emove din together we realized we had the same habits(Drinking on weekends and clubbing after a long week of work). We always go to work dfuring the week and do our separate things week nights but friday is GAME TIME!!!!!!!! Drink up, get wasted, pick up chicks if lucky aka like 10% chance. It is fun and a good way to unwind. We really get a long.

Mine aren't a nightmare but they do things that frequently grind on my nerves.

We started the year thinking we'd all be great friends but now there's a divide and we never really did anything as a group... I have my friend and those other two are bffs. Every time I try to integrate us with something they're not interested. Pfft.

Never had one, other then my immediate family, that's enough to drive me crazy. I already planned who I'm rooming with when I move out. We are both drama free, anti social neat freaks. So all should be well. The only issue will be her cat and my dog.
