I don't know if I am just blind but I can't find it anywhere on the store.

Am I missing something here?

I'm in the UK if that helps.

Thanks

It's still on our road map but I have no set date. Right now we're gearing up for Friday and PS4.

So for PS3 users who (unlike me) have no interest in getting a US PSN account and (just like me) have no interesting in being an early adopter for a new console, they're SOL just because of Geography?

When the app works perfectly fine?
(US secondary PSN account, so i do all of my CR watching on the PS3 'cos the Xbox and Roku apps both have problems right now)

UK people have been asking for the PS3 app to hit the UK since before the PS4 was even hyped up.

I really don't know what to say.
Releasing an app is not all magic and rainbows.
It's on our road map. It will be out when it's out.

No, but releasing known-working software isn't all arcane and tricky, either.

Once an app is already packaged and deployable on a a given platform, pushing it out to a wider is actually quite simple.

OK, there can be some complications. Like the difference between XP and Win7, for example. or even one department's custom build and another's. But as the PS3 software and hardware is pretty much the same the world over, and the differences all come from that region's PSN/SEN account.
No, this feels more akin to two departments using exactly the same build of Windows but office politics meaning that software deployments are handled differently. Even though it's usually a simple matter of just adding another target group to the list of valid deployments.

(Yeah, where I work I'm actually involved behind the scenes doing some of the gruntwork behind the "magic and rainbows" of deploying software to end users and computer suites. So to me it's actually a fairly simple process, especially once you've already verified it for the target platform.)

Of course, PSN Europe is notoriously picky about vetting software and when they decide to release it. Often taking the developers, publishers and PR staff of a game by surprise when they put it out live. And I can think of probably half a dozen other valid reasons why it might out be there and not here yet. But it's all based on (educated) guesswork stemming form my job and the game devs/PR I follow online. There are no details, which is where a lot of people's frustration comes from.

Unless something changed recently, I believe the app is only available through the US PSN.
