No, you can't...
But you can break them, brainwash them, make them feel like nothing and they can't live without you.
So I suppose you can try really hard.

Not that i'd know from experience.

One misconception i don't like is that guys get it easier than females in the relationship
It's not like that unless one is trying harder than the other

That it's impossible to become friends after a breakup.

(It's understandable if they end up hating each other, but it's not like they're supposed to hate their ex)

-Not everybody's your friend.
-Just because a guy is talking to you like he's interested in you, doesn't mean he is. He's just infatuated with your physique.
-Either that or he heard you're a hoe.

Just because they CHOOSE to treat them that way doesn't mean they ARE property. I never said you can't TREAT people like property.

Sadly it's not just women, and it makes me angry that men say "You women," and women say "You men" not everyone is alike each individual is different it isn't "men" or "women" in terms of personalities. I got so angry of that in my last relationship for a little while I was treated as a individual at the end it was "All of you men," I cannot stand people who generalize and it's even worse when they are pulling the same strings as the opposite gender they are criticizing

When it comes down to the bottom line, both men and women are human we're not as different as others make us out to be at all, neither one or the other should be respected or treated as a object, slave, or anything less than a equal.

I have been to areas in the world that dont have beliefs as those in free & modern cultures do.
An arranged marriage uses a contract that is also used for chattel and is approved by their religion.

[Historically, sex slaves were sometimes kept in large numbers for the benefit of powerful members of society.
Today, sexual slavery can occur when people are trafficked from their home nations and
sold, sometimes as “brides,” to private individuals.]

Reality is not pleasant, sorry to disagree with you.
I generally enjoy your posts and have wanted to ask for friend status.. guess not now.

I don't really mind people who have different views. I think it's a good thing to be able to see things through different perspectives. What I really dislike, however, are people who go out of context to try and prove an unnecessary point. What you are saying is true but has nothing to do with this thread or what I've said. Especially since I specifically mentioned the exception of slavery. It's not that I see the world through rose-tinted glasses and am oblivious to those things you've mentioned. It's just that I understand that this thread is about relationships and not moral issues in society.

And it hurts to be fooled like that.
