Always envied other people who were about 5' 6" or less. Every outfitter store has your size and shape. I have tried places like Christian Foundation or the 1/2 of 1/2 Off shops but I can never get choice clothes because I'm outshopped by the wives or girlfriends of other dudes that are my size.

I've entertained the idea of scavenging Goodwill clothes drop off sites but that practice is so prevalent here all the bins have been redesigned to prevent theft aka long term borrowing without permission. Dumpsters are also heavily picked over by our local group of the less fortunate who are looking for reusable saleable scrap metal. My only choice is online at LL Bean, Bass Pro, Santa Claus (Christmas gift) or a Big & Tall Men's Size outfitter where the prices are as astronomical as our politicians appetites are for spending public money that we as a nation don't have.

I don't try other suggestions previous posters have outlined because the outlook is similar to those of you who have experienced lackluster results.

I doubt my taste in fashion would be the same as yours. :/

Buying clothing online is a pain. You have to wait weeks for it to be delivered, ontop of that you need to be sure the quality of the clothes are as advertised. I only buy shoes and jewelry online. I shop at this "members only" club website, where you can buy designer items for half the price. I was invited by a friend, that's the only place I shop really. Purses, shoes, and jewelry. I never shop for actual clothing. I'm the type of person that needs to try on clothing before buying.

You forgot about Forever21. It only takes 3 days for it to be delivered and probably even faster since you live in Toronto.

I'm with you on trying on before buying though, it's never the right size/color when you shop online.

I ordered from Forever21 once... it took a month for my shit to arrive. -_-

Nothing big.
I usually go to Ross,Target,Aeropostal, rarely Holister.
I mainly go to U.S.TOP. I'm not the most hip person out there.

Random stores. I don't go to any specific place, really. I just buy whatever I see that I think looks nice.

Lets see, i rarely shop for clothes, If i see something i like, ill try it on and possibly buy it, which happens very rarely. The only store I actively seek out is called Chevignon, which has quite a few things i like, however, i seek it out because i can only shop there when i travel overseas.

As for online shopping, I rarely do any, but do know that if you have a rough idea of what you want, you can go to www.shopstyle.com and they will compare multiple products and sites for you on the same page, showing you what they have in regards to jeans, or shirts or whatever you are looking for. That way you dont have to go site to site looking for stuff.

Parents.

Most of what I wear are gifts from birthdays and christmas haha.

But I guess other than that, I order my stuff online, the internet has anything I want. Stores don't have exactly what I like all the time.

It depends really, pants I can buy anywhere but shirts actually cut for tall people and not just scaled up from the normal sizes I usually need to go online for. Since shoe stores rarely carry over a 15 I have to go online for those as well.

From Forever 21 and Macy's mostly. I only buy clothes online if it's not easily found in a retail store where I live, otherwise I go to the store and buy them. It's cheaper without shipping. Not to mention you don't have to wait, and you can try them on to make sure it fits right. There is this Korean brand that I'm in love with right now called Lovemark and the only way I can get their clothes is if I buy online. Of course it's really expensive and the shipping wait/cost is higher.

I only use the internet to shop for jewelry, and most of the time I use www.etsy.com. I buy most of my clothes from thrift shops, random stores I see that have my style of clothing on sale, and a nice little place I like to call my mom's closet. She buys a lot of clothes and forgets she even has them, so she never notices that I've taken them

You still have to pay shipping to buy online stuff from Forever21. I'm a few blocks away from Yorkdale Mall, so I could just go to the store to buy clothing. I just can't buy stuff online. I wouldn't mind buying T-shirts or what not. But either than that, ehn. I feel uncomfortable buying clothing online. Can't depend on it. Plus shipping, and waiting is a pain. Do you shop online regularly, starry?

^ Same here. I've always had the problem of clothing looking pretty awesome on my friends and the minute I wear it it turns to crap haha so I always try on first.

Right? I'm glad I'm not the only one. For me I think it's because I'm very small. Usually clothing are made for models, especially the small and xs sizes. So when I try them on, they don't fit right since they're either too long, or don't hug in the right places. I always need to try them on before I buy anything. :/

I buy all my clothing at Kohl's. It's where poor people shop when they want to feel like they aren't poor.
