This is the only site that gives me problems. I can go to any other without a hitch why is that? I will freeze out of no where and if i hit back a couple seconds it will work again. Not that detrimental but annoying as hell.

I think you guys have more than enough evidence to realize something is horribly wrong with your site. Enough with the bandaids. Just make it work.

Your help desk's suggestions only allow the videos to stream right temporarily. After some time, all the "tricks" to jimmy the damn thing together, stop working.

If the service was free, I wouldn't complain. If it was ad supported, I wouldn't complain. But the fact I pay for this service, and that I do it to best try to support the studios that create these series, all while half the time I can't get through a single video anymore without it freezing, crashing, or stuttering, is pathetic.

It's not our internet connections (mine is very fast). It's not our computers (32gb of RAM, 3GB of VRAM on my graphics card, and 8 cores in 2 Zeon processors is well fast enough). It's you. It's Crunchyroll.

Your Roku app sucks. Your site sucks. The only thing that seems to stream like it should is on the PS3. Again, proof it's on your end, and not mine. If it was my connection, the PS3 would suffer issues as well.

Streaming was flawless on the Boxee app, but they just killed that.

I have this same problem.
MacBook Pro Retina 15in i7 16GB RAM, SSD,.
I have also had this issue on a 13in Retina MacBook Pro
OS X 10.8.4 .5 and 10.9
Verizon FIOS 30mb down 20mb up
Chrome, Chromium and Safari.
I have tried different versions of Flash.
I have tried Google DNS, OpenDNS and Verizon DNS.
It does no matter what resolution I try to stream, but 720 and 1080 make it more frequent.

I will get at first 2/3 done a video and it will freeze. If I click on PopOut Video it will then continue playing again where it left off in the pop-out. On the next video it will freeze maybe 1/2 through, and then get progressively worse until its freezing multiple times on a single video. Even rebooting does not always help, nor does resetting my modem. I have no other thought then it must be some thing on the server side.

ONLY Crunchy roll does this, Netflix, Hulu, Youtube are all just fine.

The only thing I have not tired is resetting my cookies on every freeze, but that is not something I should have to do repeatedly.

I've found when this happens, moving the slider back just a bit will resume the video.

All of which have considerably more resources than CR (especially Netflix and YouTube). I've had similar problems with Funimation and TAN, which are closer to CR's level.

Could the ads that Paid subs dont see be the problem! The freeze happens when I think ads are placed just a thought!

I had a problem where Crunchyroll video playback would halt in mid-stream on my Macs very frequently (every 2-3 minutes) but repeatedly pausing/playing the video would get it to start streaming again after a few seconds. While my network and computer passed every test customer support asked me to perform, I finally was able to solve the problem by simply rebooting my Mac. I have a 2013 Retina MacBook Pro running OS X 10.9.2.

It turns out there is a bug in the NVIDIA drivers for OS X; I suspect the issue is just a small memory leak, but it's reproducible after many many days of streaming Crunchyroll straight. Closing the browser (or using a different browser) did not solve the issue for me. I am guessing there is probably a way to reset your video card without having to reboot, but I didn't bother to research the issue further.

While it sounds banal, try rebooting your computer; despite being a *NIX machine, even OS X gets hung up sometimes due to mistakes in driver support.

I have the same problem with the videos freezing. I have a free account, every other site works and it doesn't matter if I chose HD or SD or whatever. I've tried refreshing the page but it'll still freeze and sometimes right in the same spot. There's nothing wrong with my internet connection [full bars WOO!] And I'm on a laptop. But at least I'm not the only one with this problem and it looks this has been going on for a while.
