Ever since the crunchyroll facelift updates, probably reaching two, maybe three, years back already, the following buttons seem to have no fuction in the forum posts:

(Highlighted by the red box.)

I'm just to curious to know why they are kept there naruto when they aren't functioning. I can see the "Rate Up" and "Rate Down" are plenty fine with the comments in the video sections and the news sections, but neither one is actually doing anything for the forum section or the user guestbook feature. The "Report As Spam" button only puts the post as "Edited a long time ago".

Well, I just wanted to point that out since it seems like that those things have been like that for years. It seems too vestigial to be kept there.

EDIT- Somethings to add:
It's not really toward non-functioning, but I still want to let this made known because this is what seem different from the past.

SPOILER BUTTON-
The spoiler button, when used jokingly, is put upon spoiler upon spoiler upon spoiler like so

opens up the entiire thing. In past, it used to be that you have to open each and single one of them, but spoilers are suppose to act as a deterent. Yeah. It's kinda silly to use multiple layers spoiler codes, but yeah. "LAWL"

LIBRARY BUTTONS-

Do you think the "Library" buttons is used enough to justify to be available on display? The crunchyroll library isn't even readily visible like in the past.

Plus this, both have the BB Code of "[library]": Naruto and Bleach. Clicking on either sends you to a "404 page".

They do work just fine, just the 'score' on a post isn't visible to regular users. Moderators and such can see the values placed on the posts, just how it used to be with video comments.

Kinda odd don't you think? Pretty much, the only button that would matter in the mods' side the "Report" one because that one seems to be the most appropriate for them to check anyways and probably the most readily accessible for the users "complaints". If the post is not liked or a spam, and from personal experience, I don't see the mods looking at the points but at the complaint because that's what's being screamed louder. I can see a bit of a merit on the point system, but again, it's usually the "Report" button that people reach for for situations that needs to be handled.

"Report as spam" used to work real well at the past by actually doing something, but again, it doesn't seem like it's anything now.

To add, if the point of the "thumbs up/down" is visibility in all those other features is visibility, then why isn't it the same here? It's still user comments and posts. It conveys a message to the community by showing what is more viable and what's not cool.
