Recent discussion's with my friends has lead me to wonder if Kishimoto has given up with naruto. Its a plan and simple question. I personally this he has.

It seems like the lack of effort he is putting into the show is becoming more and more apparent, ever since Tobi was revealed to be Obito. There haven't been any plot twists since, and to be honest there were much better choices than for it to have been Obito.

(and an explanation would have been nice instead of a narrative, but that's a different topic)

Ever since the war started, the plot has begun to move in a linear fashion, relying on random returns of characters to compensate for a lack of direction. The only real purpose this whole war has had is to bring in Madara and the Juubi. And I have no idea where he's going with this Sasuke thing, but it better be more interesting than the series is right now.

In essence, I'm waiting for Kishi to produce something that makes me go "Wow, that was interesting. Didn't see that one coming." We'll see if that ever happens.

Maybe he finally realized its about time he ends it. The manga is just dragging on and on, while the anime only gets fillers. Such a disappointment lately.

He's probably still riding the gravy train with milking Naruto man. "LAWL"

By the way, next time for Naruto threads, refer here:

The show is probably close to ending. There may not be enough room for plot twists.

I don't know.

It feels like he given up on Naruto.

But this is Kishimoto, we are talking about.

So yea.

I am expecting both the expected and unexpected.

After all these time, I learned to just roll with the punches, plot twists and trolling.

No, kishimoto prob feels like it should end ( i mean over 600 chapters seems long enough!) but to me it's not 'giving up'. I've never thought of that but i guess since the war is nearly finished there really isn't any point of naruto to continue other than a huge twist that may/may not happen that'll cause naruto to continue

Ive really enjoyed naruto's journey and as it seems like it's ending it is also quite sad

Probably close to ending it.

Seriously hope he does something good with the ending.

That's my take on it. He likes the money and the Naruto franchise is worth some serious cash. He's just trying to milk it for all it's worth by putting out tons of episodes and doesn't seem to care about the plot line.

IMO it should have ended with season 8 and the defeat of Pein.

Just because Sasuke's goals and Naruto's goals are the same at the moment doesn't mean he is good.

Maybe. but i hope it ends soon. Right now, even Bleach is better than Naruto.

Well Bleach seems to have a more fluid story line, and I personally think it always has.

Well the thing is that Bleach has one direct story line going straight ahead towards the end, while Naruto dissolves into different tangents on stories that has no definite end, which can work well at times but Naruto has been messy for a while and would better if Kishimoto knew how it would end and then decided on how to get to that end, but he's basically just making it up as he goes along. While Kubo on the other hand knows exactly what he wants to do but lacks the writing skills to accomplish it, being dependent on plot twists and constantly introducing new characters and tossing aside old ones.

The Hokage's story didn't turn him good. His reunion with Itachi did, the story only reaffirmed his new found beliefs
