Yep, definitely... Doesn't help that some cultures are naturally superstitious. ;P

The universe evens things out for you.

Once I fell off my bike, it was pretty bad.
The week after that terribly 'bad luck' filled incident, I had nothing bUt good luck.
It was as if the universe was evening out my terrible luck that day by giving me good luck the following days.

So, yeah, I do.

Also, what goes around...comes around. Karma, instant karma, and rubbing off of someone's luck.

Thank you for sharing the other version of that superstition. At least I've learned something. I guess there are a lot of versions on a particular superstition. depending on the region you are living in.

No, especially not after looking into the origins of the superstitions themselves. Always good to put things into proper historical context.

Nope. I'm still frightened by the dark though. Not only because of my fears but since I moved recently I keep on getting hurt just for a glass of water. I bump into tables , boxes , chairs I'm just one clumsy son of a bitch.

i agree to what you've said because in the first place, in past there's no communication yet and we have different perspective when it comes to that beliefs depending on what region you came from.
Thank you also for sharing.
