They should apologize for making a mediocre parody. Even by 80's standards that shit be weak. Fuck the police.

No, especially considering how much time has past. Besides, it's catchy-- under the viaduct.

I don't get what's particularly offensive. Richard Bernard (aka "Red" Skelton) made fun of hobos as early as the 1950s with his character, "Freddie the Freeloader", and no one tried to make him apologize.

No, it is pretty good for 80s standard.

The part about oozing sores made me laugh a little. That oozing wound looked pretty realistic for their budget. I wonder if they took footage of a detainee from the viaduct, and if so did they credit the man?

Oozing wound aside, I really don't care about this silly video.

I'm surprised that I just found out about this, since I'm from Seattle myself.

But the video itself wasn't all that bad. By "mocking" the homeless, I thought that they were going in the streets and bullying the homeless or something like that. So as long as nobody's harmed, I don't see anything too bad about this video. Definitely not the nicest out there, but whatever.

This, exactly. It's got nothing on the Sex Offender Shuffle.

Exactly, you can't convict/judge by today's standards what was the norm for that time. Somebody's grasping at straws/ bringing up the past for some sort of agenda. My God, I was 15 years old when apparently that sh*t came out....I've never heard of it until now.

Getting pissed off by a video like that from the 80s is like getting upset every time a radio station plays Dire Straits - Money For Nothing and the word faggot is mentioned in it.

I think we need MORE of this kind of stuff! Today! Being homeless is not something to be admired - dirt, disease, cold - not pleasant things. Most homeless aren't "down on their luck" people but drug addicts and the mentally ill. If the government would support and fund hospitals for the mentally ill, there would be far fewer homeless - and fewer nuts committing mass murder with guns ...or knives ...or teeth.
