yeah prolly more expensive just because of how rare it is too =(

not quite...2002 models have the 5speed option...MSRP is no lesser or more than regular IS

hmm didnt know that..ah well, i cant find one either way...but now i'm having trouble choosing between the E36 M3 and 3000GT VR4...which would you choose?...

Personally, ill choose the e36, but thats just me. the vr4 is bulky and heavy, like it was a modern japanese verison of a muscle car.

the vr4 has a poor power to weight ratio...for a car tipping the scale close to 3900lbs, putting down power at 320hp isnt significant enough to lug its heavy ass around...

I suppose, still launches nicely though

1999 Subaru Legacy Outback Limited wagon

Image

Currently not as clean as it looks in the picture (took her into some mud, so some mud is present at the exterior)

I chose this because it was the only manual-transmission Subaru Legacy Outback at the dealership. It was also the cheapest. At first, I didn't like it too much since it is fully loaded with options, but not the automatic :D, but I've grown to like these luxuries.

I don't like leather, I don't like excessive electrical devices (such as power windows), and I wasn't too keen on the color. But the simple reason was that it had a manual transmission. I settled with it. However, the past months, I have enjoyed these features but occasionally wished they weren't there to make the car heavier or there to be another problem down the road.

Here are my criteria for choosing a car:

MANDATORY manual transmission
AWD/4WD is a bonus
Subaru preferred

The 3000GT VR4 is a very fun car. If you are willing to put up with a high-maintenance engine, they can be tuned VERY easily.

As for me, I choose the 2009 370Z because I loved the way it drove, and it fit me very well. After 7 months having the car, it is still just as much fun to drive. For my "beater" I picked-up a 1989 Prelude Si because it is easy to work on yourself and very reliable. :)

My current car is a 2009 Camry SE V6. Roomy, fast, and surprisingly good handling for a FWD car that weighs 3500lbs. (Take note, this is an SE not an LE or XLE, different suspensions and wheels)

Why did I get it? Because of my insurance premium mostly. My last car was a 2005 RX8 6MT Nordic Green Mica. February 2008 got a 95 in a 65. November 2008 got a 90 in a 65. January 2009 got a 77 in a 65. All on IH10 and got pulled over by a Texas State Trooper each time. Needless to say, my insurance premium went up a tad bit. (I had a lawyer, but 3 tickets in under a year and two being 20mph+ does not look good) Also, my RX8 was going to get expensive to start repairing. My warranty was almost up and a lot of things were almost about to go. I sold it right as gas was going back down and the resale value of the RX8 was going back up.

I got the Camry as it was the cheapest car to insure with a 0-60 under 6 seconds. If I had to drive a Family Sedan it better have some GO under the hood.
