If this really is THE show to watch, then you should surely be more adamant in your work to get this licensed in more territories.

From the amount of time it took to get the license AT ALL I suspect they did try their hardest but Funimation's deal probably made it more difficult to expand the regions. Sucks for the rest of you, I know.

Gargantia is kind of boring so far. Started out as an alien invasion space opera and settled into a post apocalyptic slice of life. Last episodes great revelation? what should we do while were stranded? continue to live.... amazing...

Gargantia was my second most anticipated this season, but they haven't hooked me at all so far. At this point I'd be hard pressed to care less what happens to any of the characters. If they can tie the ancient civilization back in with the war against the Hideauze it might yet turn out good. If they remain on the flotilla jockeying containers around for 8 more episodes i'm out.

I will admit, Gargantia is good . Yes I do like the differentiated plot and all; but Attack on Titan has got more of a style than Gargantia does. Honestly, I think that the 3D Gear was absolutely great. With the added effects, it makes scenes look a bit more action worthy. Attack on Titan is for those who like suspense, and a lot of action. Plot is actually the main thing I go for, so Attack on Titan delivers that. In my honest opinion, Attack on Titan has brought it to the table .

Can't people like both gargantia and titan without comparing? although reading people's perspective is interesting. i watch both, i like both, just.. one we watch in front of the kid and the other we don't lol i like gargantia cause of the world it's set in. i like titan cause i am a sucker for zombie apocalypse type of story lines where humans are being wiped out. anyway, thanks for promoting the reviewers! 'm glad i got to see/discover/like the others.

Don't worry all you Gargantia fans, we love that show too! In fact, SailorBee and DarlingDaniChan will be hosting a livestream of episodes 3 and 4 tomorrow, May 2 at 7pm PDT on the Crunchyroll Livestream! Tune in for a chance to chat live with other fans and enjoy the latest two episodes at the same time!

Gargantia is my top 2 along with Leviathan so far. Attack on Titan is around 5th on my list. I would expect it to be higher when the action starts.

like wont anything if u never read the manga. there is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much graphic killings . dead bodies everywhere. it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo terrible, either chunkyO or sudio remove the scene where Eren Jaeger mother body was crushed and her head was eaten first by the Titan. the manga artist is no so good, but animation is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo amazing.

Agree with you on that point. Why can't people just be allowed to enjoy both of them? Well actually they do just hipsters and people that want attention that keep venting their always so meaningless opinions that nobody really cares about

I'm really enjoying Attack on Titan. I also like the pace that the episodes go at, it doesn't feel rushed.

This looks like it's going to be a great anime. After watching the first three episodes I decided to read the manga, and I was not disappointed in the least bit. The build up pace may be a bit slow, which is especially evident in the anime because they've been arranging the training flashbacks into the story from the beginning, but once the plot begins to thicken the action and suspense doesn't let up. The anime has so far done a great job following the manga and, if it continues to do so, it seems like we're going to be in for an intense roller coaster ride of a series.

I have two problems with Attack on Titan, one minor and one major. The minor problem is that the time progression is seeming incredibly fast paced. They went through five years in only four episodes and less not forget this has to last 25 episodes. Im sure i will slow down soon but the time progression has led to a major problem, character development. The only character that I truly know is the main one. True its only been four episodes but five years have also gone by and everybody is exactly the same even though the went through all this training. I thought they might go more in depth with Eren and Mikasa relation ship and whats his name's jealousy (cant even remember his name). Also the main three characters (I think thats what their supposed to be) are so stereotypical. Theres a guy who wants to be strong and get revenge, a girl who can kick ass and has no real backstory, and a guy who is weak but will prove himself later in the show. It seems their making the show fast pace so they can skip character development but in the end thats not gonna work. It might still be a good anime when its done if it lives off of the action and its other great points, but it wont be great if the characters dont start becoming memorable.

All of my reasons for Attack on Titan not being a great anime, are the reasons Gargantia is. The characters are really unique and although its started to feel a little slow, its only going to be 12 episodes and that flashback in episode four has added a lot of interesting questions to the already huge roster of questions viewers have about the show and that it will need to answer.

Not much about this show really interests me at all. The characters are very simple and not all that exciting at all. The story so far has not really sold me much at all, except for the 1st episode. Since then each episode has progressively been getting more and more boring for me. It says a lot about a show when I find Flowers of Evil more face paced and much more interesting characters then the big hit of the season.
