I'm 50/50 on whether or not she is. Some of her mannerisms would make you think she is, but other times it doesn't. Not to mention I can't imagine Kirito and Asuna's kid would have a really "rough" childhood, unless something happened to them.

No way she had a rough childhood look at the bathroom of the place she living in, she is loaded, she might of had a traumatic experience tho.

Honestly the traumatic experience could be Kirito and Asuna died in a government conspiracy with some of the chars introduced in later SAO novels and shes trying to find the maker of Accel World to find out about thier final moments or some crap.

Or maybe Yui told her about daddies underworld harem and she went Kill Bill to slay them all and the last one is a creator of Accel World..yandere oyaji ai mode?! nice boat

I can come up with these all day.. but I have to work now.. later..

You're implying it's 100% impossible even though earlier in the thread we already came up with some arguments as to why it could be the case... Why it's not only possibly it's a fairly logical possibility

The fact that the author was upset that anyone thought the characters that he wrote were related should be enough. He was disappointing people thought that way. That's enough for me. He seems to take the criticism of his writing personally..

He wasn't upset people found thought the characters where related he's already confirmed they take part in the same universe so it's entirely possible someone in Accel World is related to someone from SAO...

He was upset at the thought that Asuna and Kirito's relationship degraded to such an extent that a their child would have an "Unhappy" childhood.

The fact he did not outright deny this theory is proof enough that it's still worth considering. Don't make stuff up understand what the man actually said before claiming you disagree or that such a link is possible.

Furthermore while he said he was upset that people though that Asuna and Kirito's relationship would degrade like i said he didn't outright deny it so he could be thinking that their love is very much alive but something happened to them which cause their child to grow unhappy for example they died or have been kidnapped....

Also how is suggested the two worlds are connected which we know are as the author has confirmed it multiple times criticising his writing? If anything it proves his writing is good because he's able to sustain two rich stories in one universe ala Marvel, You think Stan Lee takes offence to the combined marvel universe?

I view it the same way. I think its really interesting how the two stories are based off of the same universe and it shows how the world he created can be expanded upon in areas besides just SAO or Accel World. It adds to both stories. now if only i could find Accel Worlds light novels in english past volume 4.

I can concur to that! I would like to see the novels past vol 4... I wish Viz or something would translate a few light novels but they don't seem to show any interest in that and i guess i understand why translating at light i suspect would take someone much longer then your average manga.

What about Yui Onee-san? Could Kuruyukihime be an attempt to seat the AI Yui into a real clone body?

It is not hard to learn the kana and enough kanji to read light novels they are written with age groups that read them in mind and the kanji has the helpers.. learning to speak is harder imo. I am almost there... Started with childrens books heh.. Momotaro, Kaguyahime, etc etc

Used the Remembering the Kana/Kanji Series you can find on Amazon.. and a set of flash cards with wife.

if only the anime stated blood types that should put an end to the controversy.

You honestly don't see it? She has very similar eyes to Asuna and her hair colour is practically identical to Kirito's she has very similar traits to both her "parents" in her complete determination to accomplish her goal.

That's interesting to know... I've been trying to learn Japanese for sometime i know a few of the symbols for Hirigana but haven't gotten onto Katakana yet or Kanji, i'd love to learn the language but i've been busy with Uni so i haven't had the time neccesary to put into properly learning it... hopefully when i finish in the next couple of weeks i can start properly learning while i search for a job.

I am tempted to order the books anyway as motivation and just to own the collection Can anyone recommend a decent website? I know Amazon jp will ship stuff but their shipping costs are ridiculous. I thought maybe Play-Asia but they seemingly don't carry Light novels or at least they don't carry SAO or Accel World.
