Hard to say, there are so many. But if i have to pick one:

Chrono Trigger, my all-time favourite.
The song from the game is : Outskirts of Time. Listen it and see what i mean.

Also, yay for the fact that you can listen the game soundtrack in the game from the Extras! They should use this more often. Fact.

Other favourites include: Metal Gear Solid, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, Final Fantasy XIII, GTA: Vice City...

I love the Chrono Cross OST. Motoi Sakuraba and Go Shiina make a good pair too.

Man, over ten pages of posts, and not one person mentions the original Rayman OST?! The music in that game was well ahead of its time, and offers one of the best OSTs on the PS1 period. Picture City, Band Land, and Cave of Skops had the most memorable songs, but you can't deny the build up for Mr. Dark was amazing as well. The boss music was a little underwhelming most of the time, but overall, the OST was amazing. If you haven't heard it yet, I recommend it. It's not the most incredible thing in the world by today's standards, but in 1995, this was a big deal.

Another OST that I love is of course, the Danganronpa OST, both games, specifically the trial music. All the music in the game has its place, but the parts of the game when I get the most pumped is when the trials are happening.

I'm terribly sorry! You're absolutely right about Rayman 1 OST. It just never occurred to me. Anyway, while i never got past Band Land (gonna play it someday and finish it from start to finish), i listen game's music sometimes from Youtube. It's so great.

The Grandia II OST is my favourite thing ever
But also pretty much all the music across the Ace Attorney series, FF7&8, Ever 17, and Zero Escape (so much love)!
