Whenever my Dad doesn't allow me to go out with friends and when he did not permit me to join as an officer in our school's CAT (Citizen Army Training), I didn't like the idea of being a girl. He's so strict when it comes to his daughters, but whenever my little brother goes out it's always okay with him. I even begged him for two months to allow me to go to a university far from home (12-hour bus ride from home or 1-hour plane ride), but he didn't like the idea. My mom and uncles tried hard to convince him to allow me to study there (because studyingthere is kind of a big deal ), good thing he was convinced. I never got to go to overnight field trips because we weren't all girls -____- When I applied to join a campus organization (of economics majors), there was an event in the Ph Stock Exchange so we participated there, my dad called and he found out I was still there (it was already around 10pm or 11 and it was an hour ride from my dorm). He was so angry and scolded me on the phone, and I cried in a corner while listening to him (there was a party to celebrate the success of the event -____- hmp I was crying there with important people and future businessmen around, so embarrassing); he told me to defer my application so as to avoid being out 'late' at night.

You know the movie "College Road Trip" with Raven Symone? I'm in her shoes. Heck, since I entered the university I always have to "report" to my dad if I have to go somewhere outside the university (I stay in the campus dorm). With those stuff, part of me wants to become a boy. But I think at the end of the day, I'd still choose to be a girl. Maybe I idolize my mom so much that I want to be like her. I like cooking, I like sharing personal emotions with people dear to me, I like the idea of being a big sister, and I like drama and romance haha. I can't imagine myself being a guy. For the most part, I don't think I can handle circumcision, hahaha.

Well things would be a lot easier for me were I a guy. I wouldn't have to deal with icky girly issues (guys are icky too, their issues just aren't as icky), nobody would bat an eye if I flirted with a woman, and i'd have to deal with less shit from men while at work. Being a woman who likes woman is not easy, being a woman and being in charge of men isn't easy either. There is definitely a long list of benefits to being a guy.

Unfortunately were I to become a guy my fiance would leave me, as in break up, due to the fact that our orientations would now be incompatible. The fact that I am a woman has also become a major part of my identity, as much as my orientation and my race, and suddenly no longer being two of those things would be a really scary change. I'd stay as I am now, the price of change would be too high.

Honestly, I would choose to be a man - without a doubt. They have it so much easier. But I was born a woman and my personality and sexual preference is tied to that so I would never think of switching now. Seriously being a woman is quite terrible at times, I do not recommend it!

It would definatly be awesome to be a girl for a while but if I had to choose permenitly hmm its really tough to say in but all honesty I would prob lean towrds the fem. side I have several reason but prob the #1 reason is because when I was little my dad always kept saying how he wanted a daughter. I mean yeah their'ed totally be pros and cons but I think I could live with it as long as I keep my personality intact.

I think it sucks to be either gender, both have their downsides.....But it seems to me at least guys have more control/command of their fate/life than women do. Frankly, I don't care which gender I get born as (if I was to be reborn) as long as I got GOOD parents, not the ones I have now. I do however kind of like that interesting notion about being able to switch genders. Then my man could (switch gender too) be my b*tch and I could knock him up. His turn! I'm all for that.

I'd stick with being female. Certiainly, it is troublesome at times, and sure there is some occasional worrying about appearances. But Overall, I'm happy with being a woman. That, and I think men have to deal with their own problems of responsibility and social pressure. Neither I'm sure, is a walk in the park.

I would like to point out though, that I feel free from social constraints, even if that makes me a bit more eccentric, I feel happier that I am being true to myself. My family does not dictate what I can and can not do, nor does anyone but myself. And occasionally my health- I won't be a professional athlete with asthma and similar issues. And I don't really have an interest in that focus anyways. Once you are 18, you are an adult. You have the choice to live your life as you please, with or without the consent of your parents. That is what it means to be an adult.

I think if I had to pick an anime character I would like to resemble Xiaolongnü from Legend of the Condor Heroes http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/1f/The_Legend_of_Condor_Hero.jpg/250px-The_Legend_of_Condor_Hero.jpg

I think sometimes im a man at heart!
I mean the only problem would be is that id be 'gay'
but then again all the other things like i can dress up still, i love my hoodies and what not and not be looked down upon.
I can laze about more, and if im not lazy and do the whole extra working at home thing
at what not too ill get praised that lil bit extra i mean,
if a girl does it, its just normal

Hmm what else? Trainers! <3
Hmm, I can be looooooooud.

Theres lots of other actual important things, oh yeah, like i can go to the sauna,
do swimming and not be conscious of the guys,
yhh thers so much more that will be awesome, im just being dumb right now.

Downsize is id want to be able to have my own child, and on some things I'd be totally Gay.

It depends on if my personality would stay exactly the same. Because for some reason I find the idea of a female me to be pretty funny.

Female. I've always wondered what being a girl would actually be like, although their, er... gender-specific physical issues seem much more terrifying than any horror movie I've seen..... Still, I don't imagine I'd be the cute, nerdy girl, but more like the 'large titted slag' you'd find down the pub on a Friday night.
