Hey guys i own a blackberry playbook and i love watching anime on crunchyroll. So one day i was watching crunchyroll on my samsung galaxy s2 through the browesr when it hit me what if there is an app for this and i was right. Then I checked the blackberry store and sadly there wasnt anything there but being kind of a blackberry freak i thought what if i ported over the app, which i did and it works great. Now i have decided to share it with others

Now this forum will be updated regularly with new updates on the apps and i will post links to the ported versions on here.

ENJOY!!!

Here are the ported versions of the android crunchyroll apps in .bar files which can be installed on the playbook they are all updated and are the latest versions if the links are broken please post here and i fix the problem

Crunchyroll: 0.7.9

Naruto: 0.5.6

Bleach:0.5.6

P.S. You'll need to know how to sideload apps on your playbook heres a link to a very good tutorial/method which i used

Question: What does the app do? If it just takes me to the website, then I don't need and app for that , I just save the link to my homepage. However, if it does something else, then your name will be etched forever into the book of "Dudes who Rock".

UH theres a crunchyroll app for android right. And the blackberry playbook can run some android apps if you convert them into a playbook aplication file (.bar) so what i did was that i converted the android version of this app into a blackberry playbook file. now you have to sideload it onto on your playbook, i suggest you use the method i have posted but there are other ways.

Note: you need playbook os 2.0 or higher to do this

I think you do need to pay for premium membership (just anime/just drama/or both) to use devices to view the videos, at least according to the Android FAQ: /help?topic=android#3. I don't see a star by your username, so you must only have a free account that works with a web browser...

That is talking about premium membership only videos. IE, videos that were just released (since free members have to wait a week).

The Android app lets you watch with a free account over a wifi connection. You just have to also watch advertisements and you can't see the newest videos until a week later.

Are you able to completely turn off 3G or 4G?

If that does not work, then it may just be a hardware incompatibility incorrectly registering with the app as trying to use your cellular connection. Since this app is not official for the Blackberry, it may just be a YMMV kind of situation.
