NOOBS!!! Drifting is technically possible with RWDs, and in some cases, AWDs.

Drifting a FWD isn't technically "drifting"...

Evo's, STI's, Skyline's, ETC are AWD, and have the POTENTIAL to drift...

RWD are true drift machines. It all comes down to the balance of the car.....

BTW, I'd drift a Subaru Impreza WRX STI on a muddy mountain pass, mmmm, mud......

Forget muddy, try snowy mountains. There's a combination of fun and terror you won't find many other places. I was doing just that a couple weeks back, in my (non-STi) WRX.

AWD? Haha.. The fnck out of here.. I love Silvias, doesn't matter if they're S13s, 14s, or 15s! Drift machines dude. My next project is gonna be a 180SX fo sho! Swap in a SR20DET and upgrade the stock turbo! And slam that shi* to the floor!

Too bad most people won't even have the guts or enough car insurance to do it in real life. Hmmm, I would like to try doing it in a Lancer Evo X (especially with all the new stuff they have added to it).

The Skyline and Lancer Evo are AWD, so there is a chance of drifting one of those.

But the Eclipse, most of them are FWD, which means it's technically impossible. Unless one has the AWD, turbocharged Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. The GSX is basically a Lancer Evolution drivetrain in an Eclipse......
