I do happen to watch tv when I get the chance but I mainly watch things like the cooking shows or house shows that give u more knowledge for the future or present! I think it has gotten mainstream but everyone has their different opinions if it is or not!

TV has been around for quite a long time ago. It was Mainstream and cool when it first came out in black and white. Now watching TV is just the norm and people do it for entertainment and to pass time by. There isnt really a status for it..

I've been hearing "I never watch TV. It's stoopid." But I guess it is. Everybody I know watches TV, and the ones who don't can't even afford cable. I watch TV, but not much of it. I only watch the news in the morning, and Regular Show and Adventure Time after school. And on weekends at my Dad's house, I have nothing to do but surf through channels, and there are usually lots of movies on I look for to watch.

There's only a handful of shows that are actually worth watching on TV anymore. Most of it is Reality TV crap these days. Either that, or cop show, forensic show, cop show, hospital show, crime show, cop show, kitchen show, celebrity show, blah, blah, and more blah. TV today is full of predictable, mind-boggling boring crap. That's why I have Netflix, CR, Funimation, and HBO GO. That's all I need.

How is this even a question? Of course it is. The internet is extremely popular, but it hasn't overthrown traditional television yet. not by a long shot.

Not so much anymore, now that you can watch everything on your phone / laptop / Nexflix / etc.

I still watch TV from time to time, use my DVR, etc. But I definitely don't watch the amount I used to when I was, say, nine years old.

I own a 55" super HD flat screen telly. I do not have cable/satellite/etc. I only use it for console gaming, Netflix/movies/dvd'd series. I can't even watch regular telly because it's too chock full of commercials.

Absolutely yes. If you're looking at television as a medium then you can talk to almost everyone about something on TV, or that has been on TV. Keep in mind all the anime on here has been on TV somewhere at some point.

I remember reading an article a year ago stating that the majority of people who watch TV are old. So I guess not.

I don't watch TV much just news and educational programs. There is a small handful of shows that I like, but I watch them online or buy the sets when they come out.
