I actually think it's on it's way to becoming hipster lol. It was mainstream for, idk, like 30-40 years. Everyone who had a tv tuned in to watch shows and followed their favorite series. Now, the internet is where I watch 95+% of my video media. I literally only keep a cable subscription because I like cartoon network on in the background at night and I watch Game of Thrones (I like to support the show in some way to keep the seasons coming). Football season is a plus, but again,I can find that online.

It was popular and, now, is becoming less relevant. Soon to be ironic lol.

I haven't watched tv seriously for about 2-3 years, but I have though sometimes watched news, but never really anything else. (only if I'm bored and I haven't got my pc around)

So I would say that Tv is dying, fast
