Depends if movies would include television or not. If that's the case then i'd choose video games.

Movies, easy.
Let's be honest, there are PLENTY of video games that have such detailed and beautiful cut scenes that could easily constitute for the lack of movies.

I say movies. Movies can only progress so far so I'd hate to be wondering how far gaming could have gone.

I would not care if both became outlawed. I would miss watching my favorite films or playing my favorite video games, but it will not be the end of the world if they were illegal to do. Plus, since you did not mention YouTube being illegal, I can always watch game-play videos on there or other sites. Not sure what to do about movies though. c:

Movies, if I could still watch anime
I love watching movies but I can live without it. Games though, it's pretty much my bonding time with my sister xD

Movies I watch once and 95% are un-re-watchable. Games come in more variety and I can usualy enjoy for longer and more repeatedly.

An interactive world vs a world that we can view from the outside. I'd rather the interactive world.

I assume by "games" you mean just video games. It would be a horrible world if everything from chess and poker were made illegal.

As a film and television major, movies are my bread and butter. I couldn't imagine living in a world without the masterpieces of Brian De Palma, Wes Anderson, Terry Gilliam, Jean-Luc Godard, and Charlie Chaplin, not to mention a world where Star Wars would be illegal.

Movies. There are games that don't get boring the more you play them.

I don't even need to think about it. I can't stand video games.

Video games shouldn't be illegal, but the ridiculously expensive prices they charge for them should be!

Movies because if movies were cut to episodic pieces, then they would no longer be illegal, and we'd get both "movies" and games.
