Those are the things Attack of the Show mentioned a year or so ago along with car that drives itself google was working on as I recall. They look interesting, I would totally get one but I have no money sooo... yeah oh well.

The Google self driving car was never intended for use by people whit good eyesight, it was developed for people with bad eyesight or nearly blind people.

Looks interesting, probably won't get them on launch though. I prefer to wait a while before deciding on buying new things like that.

I would love a pair, but they are a bit out of my price range, would love to try developing apps for them, have had a few good ideas for AR applications.

Unfortunately, so far they only make it to go over the right eye....I see predominately through my (good) left eye due to lazy eye not being caught by Dr. until I was 8 (can barely see 3D media images too). If I wore this, I wouldn't be able to see the display clearly...even with prescription glasses. In some of us prescription glasses and surgery can't fix our vision completely...

From what I understand, they will be making the things for both sides of the eye. As it would be very simple to switch the hardware around for a left eye configuration.

Sorry about your eyes :C

This might replace phones in the future. They already have contact lenses in the works.

I've been interested in Google Glass ever since I had first heard of it. While I fear that the first generation will (most likely) not be a huge hit with most people (privacy concerns, the design, or just not the "build quality" that people are expecting), I'm sure this type of "wearable technology" is going to become the next big thing so to speak.
