Its good for CR.

I have seen all of these over a year ago and watched a couple 2-3 times.

These are great anime as I bought 3 of them for my collection

Going off of Nora's post, I'm predicting MAYBE one of the other catalog titles could be

Daily Lives of Highschool Boys or Nichibros as it has awesomely been shortened by people on the internet

It comes out physically later this year and releasing on Crunchyroll would be a good promotion for the series

They did get both seasons of Arakawa Under The Bridge from NIS as catalogs after all which I wasn't expecting

For some reason, I was certain that Daily Lives of Highschool Boys was already on here, so I intentionally left it off of the list. I guess I should've checked. Considering what pistolsaf mentioned, I also doubt that it would be added to CR prior to its DVD release.

Look on the bright side ~ at least you get a majority of the simulcasts. Even the series licensed by Sentai, which Latin America seem to always get locked out of.

I was thinking that I had seen Persona -trinity soul- on one of those sites, but as you mentioned, it's not there. While I do know that Bunny Drop is on Hulu, I was simply guessing that CR wouldn't re-add it so soon after it was taken off. That's just my gut feeling, though. I have no information to back that up.

Its not like Crunchyroll decided to take Bunny Drop down ~ when the home video rights were picked up, that meant their original direct streaming license stopped rolling over. If their new licensee wants to put it up on Crunchyroll, I'd bet Crunchyroll would be happy to take it.

I wasn't suggesting in any way that CR simply decided that they wanted to remove Bunny Drop, as if they no longer wanted it. I had always thought it was because their license to stream it had ended, so they had to remove it. I was simply implying that I think CR would be more likely to add a series that has not previously been in their catalog as opposed to Bunny Drop, which had been there for a good while and was only recently removed.

But its not either/or ~ if Bunny Drop is available as a catalog title, then not adding Bunny Drop does not mean they add another title instead, it only means they add one fewer title.

Either/or? I honestly have no idea where you're going with this, or if it even relates to the topic at hand. I simply don't think Bunny Drop will be one of the two unannounced catalog titles, with it having been on here recently.

If Crunchyroll had a fixed number of spots to fill, then maybe the fact that they recently had a title would make it less likely ... but they don't: they can put up as many catalog titles as the license owners will offer to them on reasonable terms. So the question is why the the home video distributor would be reluctant to have Crunchyroll stream Bunny Drop. And I don't see anything about Crunchyroll having on a simulcast license until recently that would make them less likely to use Crunchyroll to stream the title.

The fact that its already streaming on Hulu and is being released this season by a home video distributor who often streams their releases on Crunchyroll is what suggests it as a possible catalog title.

And the fact that Crunchyroll had it on a simulcast license would only increase the possibility, since the home video distributor would have reason to believe it could attract the attention of Crunchyroll members who became fans of the series during the simulcast for the home video release.

I'll also add to agila61's point that we don't actually know if there are only two more catalog titles left for Spring before the Summer season gets underway. Given that starting next weekend, there are three consecutive weeks of big anime conventions and Crunchyroll has a panel at next weekend's Anime Central so a catalog title there would be likely. The weekend after that is Anime Boston/Anime North/Fanime(and a North Carolina convention too). The weekend after that is A-Kon.

Whether it happens in a few weeks or during the Summer or Fall, I think Bunny Drop will return to Crunchyroll. Now, whether NIS America has another catalog title to announce is anyone's guess. And for all we know, we could get Katanagari or Persona~Trinity Soul (and there is a smaller chance of Umineko or Ground Control to Psychoelectric Girl). On the Sentai side, on the Fandom Post forums, WTK has some interesting guesses as to what Sentai could also sublicense to Crunchyroll as a catalog title and High School of the Dead is one of those possible ones. Infinite Stratos is also likely at some point since it has a second season coming out at an unannounced date.

Quite true ... indeed, its a bit of an emerging pattern to have one wave of catalog announcements after the simulcast announcements are over, and a second wave two or three weeks before the next wave of simulcast announcements.

If the boxes up are contracts that are signed, sealed and delivered, there is ample room for more catalog titles to be negotiated in time for an early to mid June announcement.

Awesome selection! I've seen them all, and probably won't have time, this season, to watch again, but so happy I can fire these up on my iPad for some late night relaxation!

May favorites are R.O.D. and House of Leaves, but they're Almost all on my "Watch again when I find the time" list.
