How many people here get creepy PMs?

When people send you creepy messages, just respond twice as creepily. They either go away or end up wanting the d.

In which case you stab them.

I'm a guy. I enjoy creepy messages, they make me laugh. Unless they're love letters from a guy that looks like Michael Clarke Duncan from the Green Mile. Then i'm just conflicted...

Women are concerned that the creepy guy sending them messages might be a serial killer.

Men are concerned that the creepy lady messaging them might be fat...

I think they'd me more worried about how desperate they are.
If I got a creepy message I'd probably lol.

I don't think I'd know how to handle that either. But like you said, creepy messages are usually pretty entertaining, especially when the other person is taking it seriously and not just a troll.

I keep looking at your name and thinking it reads "Furrytime." Have you gotten any creepy messages from furries? I know they exist on the forum, i've seen a few.

Haha, my first thought upon seeing the words "certified creepy" were -- who administers those certifications? "Get your certificate in only 1 short online training session!"

Anyway, no I've never gotten creepy PM's, and I probably wouldn't care too much unless they had some sort of personal information on me.

While I'd agree that it's a bit discomforting to receive (and frankly discomforting to send -- I don't have the necessary attributes to embarrass myself like that), there's also an extent that I understand it. Guys are told from a very young age (from men and women) that, if they want to meet girls, then the best way is to "put yourself out there," or "just start talking to them." Since some people aren't particularly proficient at this in a live social setting, they might reason that they ought to bring the behavior to the internet. Cool, no problems yet. However, I think the point where people start to think of it as creepy is when they ask for an "irl pic." Why is this creepy? It sounds vaguely like they just want to find someone to bang and/or fap over. However, if the assumption is that their only goal is to pursue a friendship of sorts, then a pic might be construed as curiosity. I know I certainly wonder what a lot of CR members actually look like (guys and girls).

That said, asking for a pic quickly like that, even if they don't have any "creepy" intentions is just a little too private for someone you "just met." Of course, in real life, that information is available without even talking to someone, but the internet is still an extremely private place to hang out. Both irl and on the web, It's sort of a shame that a guy's strategy for petitioning sex is basically equivalent to his strategy for petitioning courtship, which is basically equivalent to his strategy for petitioning friendship. Of course, I've never really had "internet relationships" before, so I could be misunderstanding things a bit. I've made all of my relationships "live" up to this point. Hell, I don't even have a Facebook, so maybe everything really is just pervs, and I've been shielded by ignorance. I don't know. In theory, there seems to be nothing wrong to me with searching for a relationship online, particularly when there's a place where people similar to you like to hang out. And if you want to pursue something like that, then you're going to want to know what the person looks like. Makes sense to me, even if I couldn't see doing it myself.

I've heard of people asking girls to cyber with them on here, so that's nothing compared to that.
Posted 5/7/13
Haha! I do too! I think they are funny.

I would totally cyber with any girl on here.

If they paid me sufficient amounts of money.

This is literally the only thing you need to do, maybe lower your age into the 17-23 range as well. The sad internet creeps don't need anything more than that. Mention being single in one of your posts or add it to your signature and you'll definitely get the wrong kind of attention.
