Vegeta and Goku.

I know it sounds obvious and corny, however I was adopted at a late age, and foster care really was horrible. I got by watching DBZ and other toonami anime as a kid, and since I really didn't have parents to do anything at the time except send me to school, Vegeta taught me how to be tough and never give up, and Goku taught me the same, but how to also be a nice person. Both of those personalities together, are me to this day to a T! Even Vegeta's condescending attitude at times, which is actually a quality I don't particularly like.

Actually, I have friends that point it out. My best friend, who didn't really know anything about DBZ until maybe a couple years ago, watched it and told me I acted just like that. After I told him why, he thought it made complete sense.

Kinda neat, I think.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who considers Goku to be one of their heroes. Personally, I think he was a great role model.... he'd always fight for what was right, constantly strived to improve himself and also did what he loved doing - fighting powerful opponents! My other hero was the Ethiopian marathon runner Haile Gebrselassie. What a badass.

My grandmother was my childhood hero...in fact, she is my adult hero as well. That woman was sensationally awe-inspiring.

it was goku growing up but its so weird he ends up being the type of hero i hate most the innocent super strong do your best type and everything will work out in the end. which is even weirder since i love dragonball when he was a little kid.

hmm could be i don't mind it when its a young kid but i feel common sense should kick in eventually and its there you find out that world is not so great a place to live in.

My grandpa. He was a fireman. He also worked side jobs to take care of his family. Sadly he passed away in march of this year.

I never really had a real person in my life to look up to when I was a kid; so fictionally I guess my hero was Phoenix Wright - taught me to look into everything obnoxiously and I've managed to solve a lot of personal problems in my life because I knew more about particular situations than what people thought I did.
