look i think that old cars r kool and i wish i have one of them cuz they r like funny and dum so i think their pretty good


and i wanna know how much could their speed get to i think its like 80 or 100 thats the fastes they have

and tell me ur idea of them and plz comment how much could their speed get??

WRONG! Since your a pipspeek, old is usually around the 70's and back then the cars were lucky to even push 80!

Umm... plenty of '60s and '70s cars could break 100 without trouble, and many could go much higher than that. Those 350HP+ V8s weren't just for show.

Of course... I wouldn't WANT to do over 80 on '70s tires. The sheer lack of grip is stunning.

Apparently, many of you don't seem to appreciate the roots of classic car history.


Chevrolette Corvette "Stingray" (1967) Roadster


The 1967 roadster model was the favorite of most afficionados, and is also my personal favorite. Don't underestimate the engines of this time. They were demons, peaking in at close to 400bhp (depending on the model you got), with speeds that go well over 100mph.

In fact, many cars during this time could go at speeds well over the limit these days. Reason? Not that many cars on the road as today, and gas wasn't that expensive. That meant bigger engines, faster cars, and just more reason for people to believe "bigger, faster... better"

If you ask me, older cars have more passion than todays cars. Back then, when people actually shifted themselves, drivers actually controlled the cars, and no computer crap demoralized the driving experience.

Look at today's cars. The new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and Nissan GT-R are merely computers on 4 wheels. There's this "automated manual" BS and 4571234978967234987698 computers guiding you like a *** damn guardian angel. I sure hope driverless cars don't become mainstream in my lifetime.....
