Who else thought Samurai Bride was a new series? I never knew it had a previous season.

Good to see that CR got Samurai Girls. Good on agila61 for predicting it. Of course, I also had an inkling too in the Spring 2013 anime thread when Samurai Bride got annouced.

For US and Canada
Starting tomorrow April 5 at 7 pm pacific

From those regional restrictions, It looks like Crunchyroll also get Samurai Girls as a catalog title (Phi Brain had a very similar situation there).

EDIT: A 12-hour delay? Ouch.

And for the record, since there will be complaints, both season were licensed by Kaze in the UK so they had no rights to get. as Kaze doesn't share UK rights with Crunchyroll. I forget who has the Australian rights, but yeah.

I watched the first episode of the new season, and from that realized it was a sequel. After that, I do want to watch the show, and this enables me to, but ... if censorship is prevalent, I guess I'll default to some effeminate crying and frail running away ... to my queue that is already plenty saturated.

As I said in the comments to the news story:

Woot! Called it! (obviously not the only or anything like the first to call it )

Madman has the Ozzie rights ~ both distribution and streaming (Madman Screening Room). And, yeah, Madman doesn't share Ozzie rights with Crunchyroll (at least, not as of yet ~ maybe one day Ozzie Crunchyroll members will direct their complaints to Madman and get some movement on that front).

So for the normal regions for a Sentai license, its Scandinavia and South Africa that got blocked out.

Two: there were three open catalog boxes after Uta No Prince Sama 1 was announced, this accounts for one of the three.

This is one of those shows you really watch for the plot.

Good job CR.

Wait a minute, you bolded plot in a sort of ironic way as if you aren't planning to watch this series for the plot at all!

But-but, I'M totally planning to watch this entire series for the plot. I don't know that much about it, but the reviews I skimmed seem to indicate a good plot and the part of the first episode I saw on Hulu had great use of film-grain effects and artistic Street Fighter IV-style ink splashes flying around.

Plus that little girl in the picture looks really cute, like the kind of kid that you vicariously want to have as your daughter. Except if I had one, I'd encourage her to wear pants and stuff.

I tried so hard to get into this show. It honestly seems like something I'd really enjoy but the art style is just too much for me. I heard that Samurai bride isn't as heavy with the ink stroke type things so I'll probably give it a shot though.

It has such a sexy plot that some of the english voice actors were listed by some funny aliases in the credits

Mina Jetoi (sounds like the French word for threesome)
Eileen Dover (I leaned....)
Ophelia Cox (well, you can figure this one out yourselves)

Is it censored?

Although you already received a reply, it is worth pointing out again for those that don't read earlier messages that yes, it is uncensored.

I checked again to be certain and TAN's subtitled version is still the censored one they originally received as a simulcast, which is also true of the episodes at Hulu. That makes CR the only place to legally watch a subtitled uncensored version online.
