I say All of the above..
i know the art isnt the best seen, but the art just reminds me of the old style of anime, that rough style <3 plus the animation is AMAZING
The story is indeed interesting and new (to me)
The Characters have grown on me, with each character i am interested in watching and seeing their outcome when the story progresses, and the music.. well its just awesome

At first I wasn't gonna watch it because i thought it was gonna be scary and gory. After a while I decided to watch it because a lot of people liked it and now....I LOVE IT!! It's my new favorite besides Psycho-Pass and maybe a few others.

I had read the synopsis for this anime since it was first added on here and although it seemed interesting, I didn't bother to watch the show. However somebody brought this show up on my facebook and every person who had seen the show had nothing but positive notes about it so I decided to see it. I found the sense of despair to be a rather interesting aspect of the show. I also found the subservient nature of most of the people (in regards to the taboo nature of the outside world) most intriguing.

This anime is pure win with me. Eren almost fell into complete cliche with me at first but by the end of the second episode I became his biggest supporter; absolutely can not wait to see this young lad fulfill the promise to himself by killing these Titains.

i think the overall hype that i heard from this opening drew me into watching the anime. and then opening came and the ending of the first episode just sealed the deal. Production IG and Wit studios just take my bloody money.

i voted story because i started the manga first. although i like the rough art style for the manga, it's the story that reels me in every week. all the other categories are just icing on the cake. music, voice acting, art, and animation were all above my expectations. the opening is killer! i know what's going down before i start each week's new episode, but it's like i'm seeing it for the first time. rarely do i get this sensation from watching anime after the manga. i can't give enough props, this anime is fantastic

There was a lot that led to me watching this show. After recovering from the train wreck of SAO, I went into this show with all of my "overrated barriers" up. However, after the first PV, and a little research on my part, I found myself completely devoted to watching this show.
The first thing was the director. After finding out that Tetsuro Araki was going to be directing it, my hope of the series went up a considerable amount. Considering that his other shows that he has directed, them being Guilty Crown and Death Note, are some of my favorite anime, I kept going and looking at this show with a lot of hope. Of course, just a good director couldn't persuade me. I found that WIT Studio, a studio I had absolutely no knowledge of, was part of Production I.G., which is one of my favorite animation companies, was creating it along with help from Production I.G., I was looking forward to this show more and more. However, then the bombshell hit me and blew me away. Hiroyuki Sawano was doing the soundtrack. At this point, this was my must watch of the season. Hiroyuki Sawano is easily my favorite composer with my first exposure being Kishin Taisen Gigantic Formula, which, while forgettable, had some decent tracks. Then, my obsession with him began after watching Guilty Crown. The soundtrack produced from GC is still one of my favorite soundtracks to date, and has been on my iPod ever since. After it finally struck me that he was doing the soundtrack, there was no way I could say no.

ALL OF THE ABOVE!

Art: i love it, and i would love to see more animes in this rough style as well.

Music: Oh Lord, that music! everything fits perfectly together, and it makes all the fights scenes epic!

Story: its something i can really involve myself with, as i often wonder what the world would be like if humans weren't the dominate species. it also shows how humans might react to a predator as daunting as the titans are, that we might not all band together and be one perfect team to survive, like something that i would expect from a zombie film. it also contains that mystery of the titans and the outside the world which is just compelling to watch.

Characters: very well rounded on the whole. eren, being somewhat typical revenge driven protaganist, does come across as a little cliche at times, but i forgive him for all the badass-ness he has to compensate for it. sasha on the other hand is a character i found disappointing. i wanted to like her as the looney comic relief, but she often comes across as a little too desperate to be funny to me. when i was first introduced to sasha, i saw a starving refuge that joined the military to be fed, which is what i think ruined the silly comedian i think she was supposed to be. but thats my only complaint, otherwise i can often relate to every character at one point in the anime.

All of the above, all the way. I was initially drawn in by the Colossal Titan, though. A gigantic humanoid monster with no skin? So. Cool.

Art: I love the style it's drawn in. The designs are interesting and the thick outlines give a unique touch to it. Sometimes I am a bit bothered by the hair, though. At times the hair looks too big for the characters head (especially the case for Mikasa and Armin), like an ill-fitting wig or something.

Story: It. Is. So. GOOD. It's paced really well and it feels really unique to me. When I watch an episode of AoT I ask myself a ton of questions and get excited for the prospect of them getting answered, and I usually spend a minute or two of each episode with my jaw on the floor.

Music: The music fits so well~ The opening theme is constantly stuck in my head.

Characters: they're all so solid! Lesser anime may rely on tired tropes and character types, but I've never felt that way about AoT. They express themselves in believable ways - Even with characters who behave poorly, I understand their motives. The female characters especially make me happy. No unnecessary fan-service, no painted on uniforms, and no tsunderes. And Mikasa's abs... *u* /getting distracted

I first saw the trailer here on CR strolling through anime. It seemed interesting, the music was great, the art, the seiyuus. I ended watching the 1st episode, then the 2nd, and now finished the 14th. Amazing anime overall.

I saw this first on a Online Film streaming website. The Cover photo was awesome, when I opened up the link and listened OP, a pumping motivation hooked me to it. I always like the things that draw me near to Bravery and Courage to fight evil
