No god moding: God moding is the act of playing as if you're character cannot be killed is unstoppable can know every thing even when they shouldn't pretty much means when you act like you're god himself unstoppable can strike some one down with a thought and you ruin the game for every one act in character be what you're character should be.
Don't be start arguments in the group, don't fight among each other if there's an issue this causes the group distress and makes people leave out of frustration, just tell a mod. If there's an issue in the actual RP with battle or some thing else tell a mod and they'll look it over. Just get along be happy.
Ask before butting into other people's roleplay's its rude and throws a pattern off if you just jump in, they have every right to ignore you completely if you do this. Just ask before you join.
Don't kill other player's characters without a written consent from both parties sent to a mod.
No Sexual Roleplay, Hinting at some thing is okay. But it better not be extreme, romance is fine, just don't put you're bedding with others out in the open.
First you'll be required to create a master, and then a servant, the servant will be of the 7 classes I will cover this in a moment. But first lets go over basics.
First there'll be a forum to fill out in the thread for character creation, you will fill it out, it'll be simple, any questions? ask a mod. First your master, you'll need to note that i have a system in place for both the master and servant to help assist you in learning how to play make sure you know there limits and there abilities without being over powered.
The stat system will be explained after i have covered the basics.
The Command Seals: The master is the one holding the 3 command seals, you'll of course have 3 command seals if you're new to the fate series i shall explain, you're command seals are what ties you and you're servant's contract and bond together, they contain immense about of mana, and power. They appear as a red tattoo mark some where on the body (generally around the hand.) There main use is when the holy grail appears before said master, they have to use them to make there servant interact with the holy grail, as the holy grail can only be touched by a servant. However they have other uses, servants may be you're servant but there still there own people they will refuse orders if it isn't in there moral range, this will force them to do it however they'll hate you for doing some thing like that, and will generally lower there stats as they are become unwillingly to serve you. The other thing is, they can be used for performing feats under wise impossible, for example if you're servant isn't near you, you could summon them instantly to you're location if you're in danger. They are extremely useful but you only have 3, lose all 3 you lose you're servant and you're chance at the holy grail. However there is a system in place which i shall explain later to prevent problems for longer time players who will eventually end up spending all there command seals.
Already explained the command seal system, now its obvious longer time players will not be able to keep all there command seals, however there is a work around. Each time you defeat an enemy magus with command seals, it must be an NPC enemy, you cannot take one from a player. This is to prevent players from just hunting each other down for command seals.
The Master: You will create a master, who is a magus or a mage they use mana, as there main tool, however limited to there mana circuits (You can look at is small circuits in the brain that allow mana to flow, the more circuits one posses the more mana they can use. ) They will generally have a magic school they are specialized in, it can very. You'll give them a magical school, personality even a weapon or two. However remember this, RARELY do humans even come CLOSE to rivaling servants in strength, to the point that, 90% of the time a servant will always win a battle vs a human magus as they are heroic spirits with no limit to there mana since they have no physical bodies. If you're once again new to fate, i will explain later.
The Servant: Now heres the fun part a servant, you get to create them from one of the 7 classes.
The servant is a noble hero (or even villain) who has become a heroic spirit, for instance king arthur is one. (You can make up one if you want its a alternate universe i'm completely okay with this)
Saber: Saber (セイバー, ?), Knight of the Sword, is one of the seven normal Servant classes summoned for the Holy Grail War and considered one of the Three Knight classes along with Lancer and Archer. Servants placed within this class are agile and powerful melee warriors adept at swordsmanship. The qualifying conditions require the Heroic Spirits to have legends as a knights of the sword, and it is the class that requires the highest levels of attributes in all but the Magic attribute. The Saber class has, without fail, proceeded to the final battleground in every Holy Grail War, so it is boasted as the strongest among all classes.
Servants of this class have high ratings in all categories, and the compatible Heroic Spirits usually excel in delivering powerful burst attacks. The Class Abilities include the strongest Magic Resistance of all classes, and the Riding ability like the Rider Class.
Archer: Archer (アーチャー, Āchā?), Knight of the Bow, is one of the seven normal Servant classes in the Heaven's Feel ritual; and it is placed among the Three Knight classes along with Saber and Lancer. Servants placed within this class are usually proficient with projectiles and excel in possessing powerful Noble Phantasms. More so than any other class, their true strength, and the qualifying condition to place in the class is determined not by their attributes; but the possession of powerful projectile weapons or special abilities related to projectile weapons.
Lancer (ランサー, Ransā?), Knight of the Lance, is one of the seven normal Servant classes summoned for the Holy Grail War and considered one of the Three Knight classes along with Saber and Archer. Servants placed within this class, many of which are Heroic Spirits who were knights, are very agile, proficient in hit-and-run tactics that capitalize on range and speed, and skilled with long-range melee weapons such as spears and lances. The qualifying conditions to be placed within the class are second only to the Saber class, requiring overall excellent attributes and a high agility attribute
Caster (キャスター, ?), the magus, is one of the seven normal Servant classes summoned for the Holy Grail War. Servants placed within this class are adept in magecraft, and the only qualifying condition is the mastery of sorceries of the highest caliber compared to the specific parameter requirements of the other classes. Their class abilities are Territory Creation, altering the surrounding lands in favor of their sorcery, and Item Construction, which allows the magus to create magical items and tools. Due to not requiring any strong statistics, they generally have low combat abilities, and due to the majority of Servants having some form of Magic Resistance, this class is thought to be the weakest of all seven. This perception can be made into an advantage, as Casters are sometimes underestimated, often to the misfortune of their foes
If you want to play as caster you must PM Paddyosmiley or Momnature because Caster is capable of being far too powerful and must have a moderate assist you in building
Berserker (バーサーカー, Bāsākā?), Mad Warrior, is one of the seven normal Servant classes summoned for the Holy Grail War. Servants placed within this class are always Heroic Spirits who have gone berserk during battle at least once in their lifetime. This trait allows them to use the special ability Mad Enhancement, which trades their consciousness and sanity for a large power boost. This class is usually for magi who have summoned Heroic Spirits with insufficient abilities and attributes, allowing them to strengthen their Servants to make up for their lower attributes and compete against stronger opponents. While it is ideal for Servants to reach the level of the Heroic Spirit, the class allows for their attributes to surpass even the original. If used on an already strong Heroic Spirit, such as Heracles, they will become empowered to truly extraordinary levels. The abuse of this to create powerful Servants has made the class referred to as the strongest of all seven classes.
Assassin (アサシン, Asashin?) is one of the seven normal Servant classes summoned for the Holy Grail War; Servants of this class are skilled at operating covertly, stealthy, and silently. This class is one of the weaker classes at fighting; as its members possess low attributes due to not having glorious legends as heroes; so it instead specializes in killing Masters rather than Servants. It is an oddity compared to the more formal knight classes who believe in fair duels and chivalry in combat; they will attack using the most unfair and favorable conditions; and with these conditions, it is possible for an Assassin to match and defeat other Servants. Deprived of a Master, Servants of the Assassin class generally possess the ability to remain with the world for about forty hours,
Rider (ライダー , ?), Mounted Knight, is one of the seven normal Servant classes summoned for the Holy Grail War. Servants placed within this class are those known for riding mounts, living beasts or human constructs, during their lives. They generally have lower attributes compared to the Three Knight Classes, but the abilities of the mounts described in their legends compensate by granting them powerful Noble Phantasms or abilities. They have the class abilities of Magic Resistance and a high rank in Riding, allowing them to fully utilize the abilities of their mounts. Depending on the rank, they can take full control of everything from simple horses, modern machinery like motorcycles and planes, and even Divine Beasts. Dragons are the only exception, as the ability to ride them falls under a different skill.
You can pick any of these classes, they are detailed as stated there. You CAN Pick A SERVANT from the ANIME or visual novel to be you're Servant HOWEVER you won't be able to change there stats, and you will NOT be able to use Gilgamesh. Once a character from the anime is used he/she can't be used by any one else.
You're servant will also get a unique special ability or weapon they will grant them a special power or a few, generally servants have 1-3 depending on how strong they are will depend on if you're character gets approval if you have 3 that are completely over powered you won't get approved however having one powerful move will be okay.

The Stat System for servants:
The Stat system is for servants only. There here for a simple reason, let me be clear. Just because one person has stats higher than the other DOES NOT MEAN they are easily killable, even if they have a D vs an A+ all servants will have a base stat that you will have a chance to edit at character creation, you don't have too, nor does it mean any thing some servant classes will have natural lower in stats than others however, these servants how different abilities, just because some one has higher stat won't mean that much the reason its here is to show that there is a limit and a difference in each servant, however the difference can be counted easily, tactics, and utilizing you're characters abilities fully, both master and servant. Starting stats for each class is
The stats are
Strength: how strong you're servant is. It will affect melee attacks, and depends on how much damage magical armor will take if said servant has armor.
Endurance: How long they can hold out, how durable they are and resilient to damage, and there basic health over all. This can some what be negated if you give you're servant a magical armor.
Agility: Speed, acrobatics, how easily you're character moves, if you give them a magical armor, depending on how much is placed, this will affect the agility stat, weapons will not.
Mana: Mana also goes to your servants, they need it to do things like noble phantasms, there special ablites unique to each servant it also says how much they require to drain from there master to fight or heal, if they have to draw to much on a master's mana supply it could result in a master's death.
Noble Phantasm: You're special ability and how strong it is, if its weak well it won't do much however this can depend on the type of ability it is not all abilities need a high stat, a good example of this is fate zero's lancers, lance abilities.
All servants will get a natural high stat and a natural low stat you can still choose how to add you're points you are given into them. They will be graded on letters. ranging from D to A+ You're noble Phantasm can be a an A++ as well HOWEVER if this is the CASE it will be you're ONLY one you can't have more than one if this is the case, that means its very powerful and IF IT IS used you can't use it for awhile and you will be allowed to use it once per battle. Example, Saber's Excalibur move.
Saber stats: They will have a B in strength, and a C agility every thing else will be D.
Lancer: B in agility, C in strength. every thing else is a D
Archer: They will have a C in agility and a B in noble Phantasm rest is D
Rider: B in agility C in noble phantasm rest is D
Assassin will only get a C in agility and a D every thing else HOWEVER they get a special power, they can conceal themselves (Not turn in invisible however this can be possible with a Noble Phantasm) They can't be sensed by other servants every other servant in the game can be sensed by each other.
Caster: Focuses on spells so auto A in mana (yes you auto get a high mana stat however) you will get a D in every thing else
Berserker: C in strength and A in endurance, now while they have a high starting stat compare to every one else, they suffer from not being able to be ranked up in there mana which will always be a D you're master has to have a high mana, to support them, also they have the ability (you can't stop it it happens you have to RP it out, if you don't RP it out correctly in battle at times you will be revoke from using a berserker) They will tend to go crazy in battles at times and masters can't control them and will start to eat up to much mana and cause there masters deaths usually they are force to use a command seal to calm them down.
The amount of stat points you are 8 points, and these points will be added to the above stats, to allow you to customize them and increase what stats you want. So each time you put a point in some thing it'll go up a a letter, if you put half a stat point 1/2 then it goes up by a + so for instance if i wanted my D strength to go up to a C i'd put one point in it. If i wanted it to be a C+ i'd put one and half points. you can achieve double A++ on a stat but you have to put an entire point at an A rank stat, some may want to do this some may not want too. Its up to you.
Note there is some thing above A++ called EX rank, EX Rank basically extremely powerful however this rank cannot be achieve through the stat system, instead it has to be like a noble phantasm that raises a said stat to an EX rank. EX rank is powerful very powerful.
So that is why only AND ONLY can it be raised through that means and that also means that the Noble Phantasm will not be permanent like weapon noble phantasm
There system isn't nearly as bad, they get a base line, you get a spell school you can have up to 3. However you can give up a spell school for more mana, the more mana the longer you're servant can fight so basically you can have a servant that can fight along time or you can have good magical abilities and have a servant that can't fight as long so you'll have to work closer with them people with high mana and lower mastery of magic will just be able to let there servant do most of the work. If you're going for a class with berserker or some one that you want a high level noble phantasm with you're going to need high mana out put. Unless you buff you're servants mana up stat to composite, they'll have more mana to use in battle for themselves than just off of you, however this has its draw backs as you give up buffing other stats. So just create you're characters how you want, with you're servant and you should be fine the stat system isn't that insane it won't make you worry that much. Its impact isn't entirely every thing, both systems are made to work together in different ways, and in the end its planning and syengry with each master that works.
Masters can also wield a weapon, it can be magical. That is fine, there weapons can very in many of things. Its not very specific a mod will let you know if its too OP. Also take note that mastering a martial arts for melee combat against a master will take a skill slot, the reason for this is because you had to take time out of you're life to master a martial art instead of a spell school.
Mana, magical resistance and noble phantasm system
The mana system shows how much you, you're servant can do. and magical resistance.
The mana system works off how many spell/martial art schools you know and how many poins are in you're servants mana, note beserker cannot have more than a D in mana. The way mana works is basically how long you're servant can fight before he has to use you're mana. This only goes off of combat
A D rank in mana is they always have to use you're mana supply.
A C rank means they have 10 posts of there own mana
B rank is 15 posts.
A rank is 20 posts.
A+ is 23 ranks, A++ is 25.
The total you can get is 25.
as for master mana.
If you have one no free spell school slot, you have no mana for you're servant use combat, this can be counter if you're servant has a high mana rank tho so you won't need it.
1 free spell school is 13 posts
2 free spell schools. 16 posts.
3 free spell schools. 20 posts.
You might ask what's the point of having so many posts like this for both servant and master.
Well you can have a class like caster where they start with high mana value u wont really need to have any mana free, however some one like beserker you have to have alot of reserve mana to keep them. Beserker has extremely high stats in general and are hard to kill so its not a big deal they can usually win in short period and 13 posts-20 posts most fights never go on that long.
Noble phantasm use alot of mana or a little depending on what it is.
Reality marbles require a 5 posts worth of mana every post so it drains mana fast every post.:This is the act of creating an alternate dimesnion using one's mind (servant) and bringing you're enemy into it, it wlll let you do different things depending on the reailty marble you create
Anti-unit requires none: This could easily be a weapon that lets say ignores magical resistance Every body generally gets one of these, the power must be average of it tho, it can't be super powerful.
Anti-Army requires 15 posts worth of mana.: An area attack meant to wipe out alot of enemies instead of just one however it is quite powerful and requires a cooldown period of 5 posts.
Anti-fortress: this is extremely powerful if you use one of these you only get this as you're noble phantasm its 20 posts of mana: Extremely powerful can only be used in a single battle once is strong enough to destroy any armor, any being. Most servants won't live through this. however its extremely taxing on you're servant once used there stats are all reduce by 1 until they are able to rest from battle (So basically till the battle is over)
Barrier noble phantasm: Requires 10 posts of mana.:A defense or counter noble phantasm will allow you to keep yourself from being destroyed by lets say an anti-fortress noble phantasm.
You can choice more than one noble phantasm however it depends on what you pick, for instance you can have an anti-unit and a reailty marble. but you can;t have a anti army, and a reality marble.
If you choose anti army you may only have a barrier or a anti-unit.
You may have up to, one anti-unit no matter what. They have to be average in power if you have an anti-fortress, or reality marble.
Magical armor: You can give this to you're servant to make up for a low endurance stat however... depending on how much will affect agility. Or instance if you're wearing a full set of plate armor you have a 1 and 1/2 stat plenty to agility so if you had A in agility it would be a B-
You can have. Full magical armor, Half magical armor. Half will only result in a 1/2 minus. A good example of half magical armor is Saber's from fate stay night. Her shoulders are free, and so are her legs are all free in movement however, its still weight.
If you have high endurance this won't be as important. Even if you have low endurance doesn't mean getting magical armor is a good idea. You can get magical armor with high endurance for extra defense however.
Finally magical resistance is based on mana either an a noble phantasm, or magical armor can give up physical defense for magical defense magical defense is based off the mana stat the higher you're servant's mana the more defense against mana they have. or it can be based off high endurance as well like beserker is just tough in general so magic isn't super effective all the time. You can also have anti-magical armor. You won't get defense against physical attacks but you will magical attacks. Don't confuse high endurance with magical resistance it just means your servant has alot of health
ALl servants are 50% resistant to all spells by masters. this is raised further for every stat in mana they have. This is based off of the fact that servants dont have a mana limit like humans and can flow 100% completely without turning on circuits
The Command seal mode
Command seal mode gives the command seals more meaning once you have so many, command seal mode will allow you to buff yourself up for 3 posts when you use a command seal strong enough to double you're strength, you may even be able to stand up to lesser servants (Depends on there stats and you're character) with the command seal mode on for a short time. This is a very powerful mode you can only use it once per battle, and it takes a command seal however as stated earlier you can gain up to 6 command seals, this gives them meaning and use to hunt for them.
Heres how it works. When you go into command seal mode, you're spells are buffed up considerably making them strong enough to hit servants with higher magical defenses with you're spells or maybe try and do an all out, and take down a master quickly. etc, it can be used for all sorts of things, the act of command seal mode is to use the mana (Which is extreme) from the command seal instead of you're own mana therefor allowing you to perform amazing feats with it for a short amount of time, this can turn a beginner mage stronger than a master for a short time however its duration is short so plain ahead with it. And don't think command seal mode is auto win button either.
