I'm 6'1" (185.42 cm) and I am happy with my height. Also no need to worry about being short. Girls are cute when they are short.

I would love to carry at least one of my knives with me though. I am far too worried about someone making a big fuss over it though and police getting called and me losing it. I think I have an unhealthy attachment to my knives though. =\

The best way to carry a weapon is concealed, and the best way to keep a secret is to not talk about it. But knives aren't strictly weapons, and can be very useful when you need to cut stuff. Something like this Kershaw folding knife is easy to keep razor sharp, durable, and you can open and close it with one hand. Once folded, it clips nicely into a back pocket and nobody will know you're carrying it unless you bring it out and show them, so long as you're not walking through a metal detector. Plus, the blade is less than 3" long, which qualifies it as a utility knife and perfectly reasonable to have in public.

Yea. I just can't bring myself to risk it. Being a 4" blade this wouldn't be acceptable to carry around? >_>...

Thanks, but you don't have much to worry about. Being aware and cautious is the best self-defense; violence is always a last resort, and the most dangerous one. But really, if one of your coworkers patted you on the head and offered you candy, wouldn't you consider stabbing him in the eye?

Depends on the laws in your area, although it probably wouldn't be a problem if you kept it in your pocket until it was needed. Personally I'm not a fan of serrated blades, because they're so hard to sharpen, although the flat tip of that knife looks like it could come in handy.

True enough about differences in location.
I like having the two different edges for various uses but I rarely use the serrated so it isn't much of an issue with sharpening it. I love the knife overall though. It stays very sharp for a long time.

I'm female, 6ft (182cm) and I really don't know what my ideal height is. I like being tall but it sucks sometimes.

Haha nah I'm quite ok with people patting me on the head or rest their elbows on my head because I know they're just messing around Majority of people I've worked with are very easy going (as the nature of retail work requires), and as long as they still do the jobs I've set for them then I don't mind being teased a little bit.

Also one very good thing about being short is that we tend to look younger and can get away with buying child ticket I always buy child ticket whenever I'm in Germany because the age limit is 14 and I take it as a compliment when people ID me!!

Male, 6'2 (188cm), ideal height would be around 6'5 (195cm) because that is what my dad is (or used to be, he might be 6'4 now). I'm not sure if I can get to that since I did most of my growing in highschool, but it is always nice to dream. I always blame not being taller on my mom since she is only 5'0 (152cm), and her mom is even shorter.

Not quite 6'4 so around 192-193 cm or so. I'm at my ideal height, and I'm probably done growing.

I'm a 5'4" (around 164.6 cm) female, and my ideal height is 5'6" . As little as two inches can make a significant difference. I often find myself in situations that involve objects being just a tad out of reach.

Male, 5'11" (181 cm)...My ideal height is 6'0 (183 cm). Hopefully, I'll be able to achieve my ideal height if not, I don't really mind. I'm pretty tall for an Asian, anyway...
